Gender "assigned at birth?" No, gender is "assigned" at conception

School bathroom directive unconstitutional

Under President Obama, America was placed on the fast track to "fundamental transformation," which is the process of our national heritage being eliminated, and the removal of every semblance of a traditional social order. It started long before the Obama administration, of course, with the Democratic Party having become a united-front organization of the “oppressed,” from radical feminists to advocates of racial revenge against whites, to special rights for homosexuals, and now, special rights for dozens of sexual preferences and gender classifications, all under the banner of “LGBT” (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transsexuals/transgenders). The Democrats welcome any group who can place the blame for their problems on a supposed system of tyranny headed up by the Republican Party, particularly its conservative wing. Their goal is to eradicate the Republican Party, described as being headed up by white European descended, male dominated, capitalist, nationalist, Christians.
In this hate club, support for one or more of these “oppressed” groups implies support for every group in the club. And as we saw last week, the Governor of North Carolina and their state legislature were the focus of this hate club that is now going after anyone who does not think bathrooms should be based on your biological attributes. So everyone on the Left in one day become advocates of the new dictatorial directive, while everyone else is wondering what the heck this is all about. In a continuation of that process, a new directive has gone forth. On Friday, May 13, 2016, a “Letter on Transgender Students,” was sent out from the US Department of Justice and US Department of Education to all public schools across the nation regarding transgender students. It says America's public restrooms, showers, and locker rooms as they now exist are facilities of oppression if they don’t allow people who think they are the opposite of their physical sexual identity.
“The directive comes from two top administration officials: Catherine E. Lhamon, the assistant secretary of education for civil rights, and Vanita Gupta, head of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.”

From here on out, we're all to accept that people will be using public facilities based on what sex people feel or think they are at any moment of any day:
“Transgender individuals may undergo gender transition at any stage of their lives, and gender transition can happen swiftly or over a long duration of time.”
Instead of special consideration for individuals not comfortable with using the restroom that pertains to their physical attributes, they turn reality on its head and for non-transgender students “make individual-user options available to all students who voluntarily seek additional privacy.” And while we need to be questioning the absurdity of the notion that school restrooms and locker rooms should be fundamentally transformed for a situation that over 99% of schools have never had an issue with, it’s wrong to even suggest that its implementation should bypass the Constitutional system of representative government and be imposed as a national directive. Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt was one of several state AGs who responded to Lhamon and Gupta: "We believe that your actions today are unlawful and that they represent the most egregious administrative overreach to date....You have taken a public policy issue that must, by our constitutional design, be worked out in the laboratory of democracy and enforced it on all people. And you have done so through a misuse of the spending power." No need for a Constitutional government if the White House can arbitrarily tell the whole country to change their thinking instantaneously to accept that all gender issues will now be based on the thought of individuals instead of their biology.

Shouldn't we at least be afforded public hearings on such a wide-sweeping directive that those unknown people who have spent the last several months preparing this insanity can present it to the American public? Can our new totalitarian government at least give us a clue as to what upcoming directives are to be imposed on us? The people affected by these changes – students, parents, teachers, administrators - need to be involved in determining if those changes really need to be made OR NOT. It's time to act, America. We need to demand town hall meetings with our government leaders to ask these questions and have them presented to the proper individuals and bodies of government so we can begin the national discussion on how to stop this outrageous abuse of government power. “Transgender describes those individuals whose gender identity is different from the sex they were assigned at birth.” Gender "assigned at birth?" No, gender is "assigned" at conception.
