Last week I shared a video of Bob Casey suggesting that a single-payer bill could appear in "the next couple weeks." As I said then, this was always the plan. A single-payer system - not unlike the one that just handed Charlie Gard a death sentence - is the ultimate goal of every anti-constitutional leftist. It's the glorious panacea through which they can implement all their social programs, limit your options, tremendously expand taxation, and punish you for exercising your rights.
It's the socialist Holy Grail.

Well, get ready. According to Chuck Schumer, Democrats are about to unleash a whole slew of no-doubt-terrible healthcare reform ideas. ...And single payer is "on the table."
Don't kid yourself, here. Schumer is trying not to openly admit it, but single payer isn't on the table. It is the table.
They may pay lip service to other concepts but, in the end, the only thing they really want is an entirely federally run system. Government is their God - and single payer is probably the single greatest thing they can do to give their deity more power.
Whatever plans they put forth, you can be 100% confident that its primary function will be to enhance the greater glory of the state.
