Incensed: Obama tried to keep the courageous men who saved this nation from seeing their memorial

Stunt at WW II Memorial Shows More Evidence Obama is a Thug

Imagine you are a veteran of World War II approaching your 90th birthday. This may be your last opportunity to visit the memorial that was erected to honor your service. You have come to your nation’s Capital, only to find that your president has ordered that memorial barricaded to keep you out.

As a teenager, you jumped off a landing craft into the surf at Omaha Beach and watched as your buddies were cut to pieces in the sand. Or maybe you endured the horrors of Iwo Jima or Guadalcanal battling the Japanese in the Pacific.

You did your duty, endured the horrors of war, and miraculously survived it all to come home, asking only for the opportunity to start a family, perhaps build a business, and generally enjoy the liberties you had fought so hard to defend. You paid taxes all your life to support your government.

So why would the Obama administration choose to close your memorial? Because it was calculated that it might be useful to this man’s propaganda campaign to convince the American people that the current government “shutdown” is the fault of the opposing political party. It’s as simple as that. And yes, he really is that petty.

It is long past time for the American people to embrace the reality that Barack Obama is a Chicago street thug in a thousand dollar suit. He is ruthless, arrogant, imperious, and filled with disdain not only for those who oppose him but also for the ignorant voters who put him in office. Anyone who would deign to work for his administration has sworn allegiance to an ideology that is anathema to the Founders of this country and the Constitution they crafted.

Every day it becomes more difficult to catalogue the abuses of this president and his regime. He has lied about foreign and domestic policies; grossly wasted our tax dollars; punished legitimate business owners with punitive taxes and crushing regulations; misappropriated funds — anyone seen that $20 billion he extorted from BP after the Gulf oil spill? — used the NSA to spy on us; used the IRS to threaten those who oppose his agenda; embarrassed us abroad; endangered our national security; enforced the laws he likes and ignored the ones he doesn’t; and generally twisted our Constitution into a large pretzel.

It’s as though he was conceived in a petri dish by mad scientists and raised by leftist intellectual radicals who suddenly unleashed him on this country from out of nowhere. He is not the stuff of which this nation was built. Quite the opposite. As a member of my family is fond of saying, “He’s not one of us.”

In a recent press conference, he showed his incredible ignorance of and hostility toward the private sector when he compared the rollout of his one-party power grab of the nation’s health care system — with the clear goal of wrecking it — to the introduction one of Apple’s latest products. As if I’m forced to buy an iPhone.

And now his regime tries to close the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., to the very people it was erected to honor. Only after being faced with a negative public relations nightmare did the National Parks Department relent and allow these brave men to visit their memorial, which never should have been closed to them, or anyone else, in the first place. How stupid do these people think we are that they can expend the resources and manpower to set up barricades around an open-air memorial during a supposed government shutdown?

If you are not incensed by the fact that your president tried to keep the courageous men who saved this nation from Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan seven decades ago from seeing their memorial, then you are either an enemy of this country or you are a brain-dead idiot.
