For Obama’s first two scandals above, he’s already invoked “There’s no there there.”, and respectively, “plausible deniability”. The president’s continuous arrogance of power is stunning, and it was only a matter of time before the emperor was exposed as having no clothes. His Associated Press scandal should well be his last proverbial straw.
Benghazi-gate confirmed to those in the military and those who support the military that Obama’s State Department would not protect, and indeed, would disuse the military to sacrifice American lives for Obama’s political ambition. Obama covered up for his mantra that ”...he killed UBL and Al Qaeda was now on the run.” He had an election to win last November. Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead! “It was the video stupid, and I’m sticking to my story.” Twelve uncovered emails proved his story was a lie from the get go.
IRS-gate confirmed that Obama’s Treasury Department would double down the power and wrath of his Administration to intimidate any conservative political opposition. Ironically, some of those targeted non-profit groups had historic titles such as “Tea Party” and “Patriot”..........as in 1776 and all that EH? Many “low information” Americans may not have strong feelings about events surrounding some Libyan town called Benghazi, but who amongst us does not have an opinion on the ominous power of the taxman. Scarily, the IRS has also now legislatively been assigned to enforce the provisions of Obamacare. That means Americans are to trust a big government agency with bot their money and their health. What’s next?
Finally, Associated Press-gate was arguably stupid, but not surprising. Familiarity breeds contempt EH? Obama never dreamed he’d get caught. Why should he? The Mainstream Media love him. He is so cute, historic and liberal. He even mocked journalists openly at the Correspondents' Dinner, AND THEY LAUGHED. It’s not surprising, however, that once their liberal president got re-elected, some liberal media persons would start deserting the ship of fools like rats in order to salvage what reputation they hoped to maintain after Obama was gone.
Very soon after the Benghazi terror attack on September 11, 2012, it became apparent to me and others that that event would become, in time, Obama’s Watergate. It had taken eighteen months after his re-election for Richard Nixon to resign over Watergate. As did many who share conservative persuasions, I believed back then that Obama would likewise face the inevitable threat of being constitutionally removed from office. The Mainstream Media, however, had discovered and promoted Barack Obama. The Mainstream Media got him elected president. The Mainstream Media were complicit in getting him re-elected. Now, however, that same Media will be the ones to bring him down.
There’s an old biblical metaphor about how “...it all depends on whose ox is being gored.” The Mainstream Media have tolerated, indeed covered for, much abuse of power inflicted on others by this president, but I suspect that same Media will finally find Jesus in the bottom of the crackerjacks box when it comes to “freedom of their press”.
Obama had infamously supported the removal of Ben Ali in Tunisia, Mubarak in Egypt, and Go-daffy in Libya. All have been replaced by radical Islamist governments who favour Sharia Law and are anti-Semitic, and anti-American. Now he favours removal of Assad in Syria and, truth to be ultimately told, the terror attack in Benghazi may well have been intricately and sinisterly intertwined in all that happened there. Regardless, Islamo-fascism is sweeping to power across North Africa and further into the Middle East. That disgraceful hat-trick by Obama in foreign policy has now been matched by his exposed hat-trick of failures to lead at home. For the good of America and its friends, and sooner than later, this ducking, dumb-duck, lame-duck president must be dispatched as a political dead-duck to the dustbin of history. For better or worse, it’s time to bring on Joseph Robinette Biden.
