The Democratic Party is broken, no longer the party of JFK. Democrats simply ran out of altitude and ideas, or, as Thatcher so brilliantly said, "other people's money."

The Great Non-Story or Excuse #236

This election sold more antacid pills, caused more counseling appointments and maybe turned more sober liberals into drunks than any election in my lifetime. They refuse to believe it could happen in the U.S. of A. where billions of dollars and at least 50 years were spent patiently transforming the mass media, much of our federal and state bureaucracy and the entire education system into slobbering disciples of 'progressive' re-education, big government theology, political correctness and safe zones. The left is working frantically to try to either, win the election for Hillary by whatever means necessary, or to de-legitimize the Trump presidency before he even takes the oath.
The 'Russians did it' is the latest justification for their deranged rationalization and decades of mental disorder. Hardly a day goes by without Fox's Bill O'Reilly or Tucker Carlson exposing some complete nut bar liberal professor or Hollywood personality droning on about why the world is the way it is, all without ever having actually lived in it. Even Britain's Labour Party has joined in the hysteria, blaming Russia for Brexit, not their tone deafness. The left, displaying their amnesia for all the world to see, accused Trump of having ties to Russia while forgetting that it was Secretary Clinton who approved a uranium-mining deal that gave Russia (Rosatom) and Uranium One of Canada control over much of the world's uranium. Oh, and let's not forget the $2.35 million donation from the chairman of Uranium One to the Clinton Foundation. So, who has the ties with Russia? Yes, Putin probably preferred Trump to win the election. Russia needs to be rid of ISIS and neither Clinton nor soon-to-be former President Obama were the ones to do it. Russia desperately needs a stable Middle East for their own economy and Putin has long ago had his way with both Hillary and Obama. They have nothing more to give. That does not prove Putin had the DNC hacked. The Russians didn't need to hack the DNC.

The good judge Andrew Napolitano, much to my glee since I have said it many times in the past, recently articulated on Fox News that, more than likely, it was the intelligence community that leaked the emails to Wikileaks. Julian Assange even admitted that they did not get their information from the Russians or any other nation-state. The United States intelligence community does not trust Clinton with state secrets. She was extremely careless in the past and they saw no reason she would be any different in the future. With enough money, one can buy just about anything from either Clinton. The lives of intelligence personnel had been compromised by her actions so they weren't about to support her candidacy. Obama supported her only to protect his legacy and the Iran deal. This story has become a 'much ado about nothing.' The left is desperately looking for any excuse for their loss and found the only scapegoat they think people might buy. What a sad commentary on our institutions that we have to depend on leaks and an alternate media to discover the truth about our own corrupt political system. The Democratic Party is broken, no longer the party of JFK. Democrats simply ran out of altitude and ideas, or, as Thatcher so brilliantly said, "other people's money." They made more promises than they were willing or able to keep, taxed everyone to the hilt while wanting more. And, like a snake-oil salesman in a carnival, watched as people, who had heard the same tired hawking for too may years, simply walked away.
