The swamp strikes again, takes down Tom Price

Cabinet members taking charter flights is not unusual. I used to see Obama cabinet members at charter airports all the time. But this is the swamp, so you know what happens. Dr. Tom Price used some charter flights to get from point A to point B on occasion as Secretary of Health and Human Services. This practice was and is not unusual for cabinet-level officials. I know, because I personally saw officials of the previous administration at charter airports when I had to get from point A to point B on a timely basis.
But the swamp didn't like Dr. Price using this practice, because he was quietly defanging parts of ObamaCare by reviewing and reversing egregious regulations that were benefiting the bureaucracy and not the people. So someone in the swamp, probably one of the nearly 80,000 HHS employees, gave the information to the most dishonest and unreliable source for news on the planet. I know, because it’s the same so-called source that created a firestorm of lies around my presidential bid, namely Politico. Even after Dr. Price graciously agreed to repay nearly $52,000 in "questionable" travel expenses, it still was not enough blood for the swamp, so they continued the controversy and the attacks. Eventually, you get tired and disgusted with the attacks on your character with there's never enough time to respond to each attack, and you resign. I know! Because that's what happened to me! When people say Dr. Price or I should have hung in there, they were not in the liberal media blender without a top. This is why President Trump is confronting such resistance in carrying out his agenda, which is the people's agenda. Fortunately, he has the resolve, the resources and the people to beat down many of the attacks to get the job done for people who do not suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. This is also an example of why it is so difficult to accomplish substantive changes in Washington, D.C. to really fix big problems. President Trump's tax cut and simplification proposal is solid as a rock as a proposal, but the swamp will fight it tooth and nail. We may not be able to rescue individual swamp casualties like Dr. Price, but we can continue to encourage this president to keep fighting for us. We can encourage him by letting our respective representatives and senators know how we feel about real solutions to big problems. I know, because I've done it and continue to do it, and it's working!
