American Exceptionalism has once again become evident through the peaceful transfer of the Executive Branch that promises all Americans the opportunity to partake of the American Dream

This is why America is ‘exceptional’

We just witnessed the swearing in of America’s 45th president, Donald Trump, a man who has never run for public office, yet who managed to tap into the hearts and minds of the American people with his message that he will make America great again. Think about any other country wherein this might be possible, as most Western Democracies see their peoples’ representatives in terms of being anointed, much like an arcane priesthood, and in many ways whomever is elected doesn’t matter because all the candidates stem from similar trees.
America has been in real danger of falling into this trap, as families like the Kennedys, the Bushes and the Clintons threatened to make succession to the nation’s Executive a dynastic matter, conferring on their respective relatives a hereditary privilege, an entitlement, if you will. The amazing thing about the ascent of Donald Trump to the Presidency is that the elites, despite their obvious and absolute opposition, conceded victory to the American people. While the planet’s economic and intellectual elites are meeting in Davos to explore ways to maintain the globalist status quo, America has made a U-turn, asserting its self-determination and the right of its citizens to partake in those decisions. It’s a change of game that’s long overdue. Looking at the European Union, one can only hope that more members of that bureaucratic nightmare follow Britain’s example by opting out. After all, what is the EU, but the fulfillment of Hitler’s dream for a United Europe under the leadership of Germany? The presidents of the European Council, the European Commission, The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, are all chosen from within the EU’s governing body and are not elected by the people of Europe and more importantly, are also not accountable to the people of Europe.

But let’s not just focus on the EU. Other jurisdictions, including Canada and Mexico generally turn to tried, true and seasoned professional politicians for their national leadership, Kevin O’Leary’s efforts to become the next leader of Canada’s Conservative party notwithstanding. If O’Leary does attain the leadership of that party, his chances of becoming Prime Minister are somewhere between nonexistent and zero, as Canadian voters tend to be notorious sheep with an overdeveloped herding instinct. Then of course, there are the less liberal jurisdictions that include nations currently under communist or other totalitarian rule, which may brag about holding “free elections” that always seem to result in the leader-for-life getting re-elected with 99.9% of the vote. Very few people understand that the peaceful and willing conveyance of power from one party or individual to another is an exceptional thing. And it’s only exceptional because in no other nation could a candidate like Donald Trump attain that nation’s highest office. American Exceptionalism has once again become evident through the peaceful transfer of the Executive Branch that promises all Americans the opportunity to partake of the American Dream.
