Partisan hack masquerades as TV journalist

Trump rips friend-of-Hillary Stephanopoulos: My tax rate is none of your business

Why is Trump doing so well, wasn't he supposed to flame out? That's the question that left-wingers and incredulous NeverTrumpers have been asking since they were blindsided by his candidacy. Whether they want to see it or not, the answer is simple. Donald Trump is succeeding because he's sick of all the same crap-ola that ordinary Americans are sick of. Nowhere is that more evident than in his disdain for the barren yellow wasteland of TV "journalism."

Yesterday, Clinton-sycophant George Stephanopoulos pressed Trump on his taxes. ...You're going to like the answer. Boom. Not only does Trump refuse to play ball on the tax question, he gets right to the inarguable fact that Stephanopoulos is a longtime Clinton loyalist masquerading as an unbiased news man. Fishing for ammo, Stephanopoulos asks, "You said you'd release your tax returns when Hillary has turned over all of the emails in her possession." To which Trump replies, "She didn't turn them over. There are plenty missing. I read yesterday where there are a lot of emails missing. I know she's a good friend of yours and I know that you worked for her and you didn't reveal it but you know she did not turn over her emails. There are a lot of emails missing." The idea that Stephanopoulos can be - in any way - impartial is simply ridiculous, yet every other by-the-book politician who wanders into George's crosshairs dutifully bows and answers his leading questions. Why? Why in the world does every other GOP politician feel they have to treat Stephanopoulos as something other than the partisan hack that he is? The answer is they don't, but the go-along-to-get-along culture is so ingrained in them that taking the path of least resistance is always their first instinct. Trump is winning hearts and minds because the American people are absolutely fed up with the game - and, finally, someone shares their frustration.
