VIDEO: Hillary takes 'absolute personal responsibility' for losing, just before blaming Comey and WikiLeaks

Did someone ever tell you they were going to do something, but then they didn't? Someone once told me, "I saw a Tigers shirt and I was going to buy it for you!" But they didn't. Hey! Thanks for telling me about the shirt you didn't buy me! Not that I can't get plenty of my own, but what good does it do me that you were "going to buy" the shirt? You didn't.

Hillary Clinton was going to win the election, you see.

Hillary Clinton was going to win the election, you see. OK fine, she didn't win. But she was going to win! Now, who is responsible for her losing? Well, of course, you understand, she takes complete personal responsibility. Yep. She's one standup girl all right. She said the words "personal responsibility," so that's how you know. Er . . . at least up to the point where the words have left her mouth. That's when she tells you who she really blames. This is from an event on Tuesday hosted by CNN left-wing propagandist Christiane Amanpour:

Hillary's schlock, homebrew e-mail server

So does Hillary really hold herself responsible? Of course not. Politicians claim to take responsibility when things go wrong because it's one of those things you're supposed to say. It's like saying you love the country. Whether you do or not, you have to say you do. "Truth" has never had much in common with "stuff that comes out of Hillary Clinton's mouth," so no sooner has she claimed to be taking responsibility than we find out who she thinks is really to blame for her loss - Jim Comey and WikiLeaks. Why, if not for the things they did, she was on her way to winning! Nate Silver said so! But there's one gigantic problem with Hillary trying to pass off responsibility for her loss on Comey and WikiLeaks: The actions of both merely served to inform the public about true and unflattering information about Hillary. Let's start with the Comey letter. He surprised everyone by announcing on October 28 that he was reopening the investigation into Hillary's schlock, homebrew e-mail server. Why? Because information from that server had been found in the course of investigating pervert Anthony Weiner, who was married to one of Hillary's top campaign officials, Huma Abedin. Comey didn't ultimately choose to charge Hillary with anything - although he should have done so months earlier - but announcing that the investigation was being reopened was merely the public airing of true information. If Hillary didn't like her e-mails being on Carlos Danger's server, she should have been using the official State Department server like the rules said she was supposed to. Then there would have been nothing to investigate. Or let's consider the information exposed by WikiLeaks. We learned a lot here about the inner workings of the Clinton campaign, including the belief by Clinton honcho John Podesta that Christians were backwards rubes, and that there needed to be a "Catholic spring" to get the Catholic Church to reject all that God and Bible stuff and start thinking more like liberal Democrats.

Hillary Clinton lost because she is an awful woman who would have made a terrible president, and because no one likes or trusts her

This information certainly reflected negatively on Hillary, and it may nor may not have influenced the outcome of the election. But if it did, she has only herself to blame. She's the one who had a schlock, homebrew e-mail server, lied about it and destroyed more than 30,000 e-mails she was supposed to turn over. If the Comey letter reminded people of this, that's not his fault. It's hers. Because if she had never done these things, they couldn't have been exposed in the first place. And if she didn't like people reading her staff's e-mails over WikiLeaks, she should have hired better people who would not have trashed the American people in their internal communications. That way, when people read what they wrote, no one would have had a problem with it. Hillary Clinton lost because she is an awful woman who would have made a terrible president, and because no one likes or trusts her. The things that led to her loss were because of her. Donald Trump had to deal with unflattering revelations himself, and at one point it seemed inconceivable that he would recover from them - especially the Access Hollywood tape. Every candidate has to deal with stuff like this. There is no reason Hillary should think she would be exempt. What it came down to is this: By November 9, the voters had all the information they were going to get, and they made the best judgment they could with what they had. That judgment was: Thumbs down on Hillary. However they came to that conclusion, they got it right, whether Hillary can handle that or not. She was going to win! But she didn't. But unlike that person who didn't get me the shirt, this failure to turn intention into action saved a nation.
