Violence erupts when misguided youth swallow rewritten history

As much as the usual suspects--left-leaning press, politicians and professors--are quick to blame every ill in society on all people with light-toned skin, the irrational head-bashing that occurred in the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia Saturday will continue. This nation was established on free speech, the concept of which has been twisted by progressive ideologues to mean "approved speech," destroying the purpose of this most important aspect of the First Amendment. And on this day, someone died amid the havoc wrought by the arrival of counter protesters who believe that free speech means closing it down, and in attempting to do just that, they created an environment where the only thing heard were hurled epithets and thuds of delivered blows.
Where is the blame to be directed? (I usually ignore the blame-game to dwell on solutions, but in this and similar circumstances the two are hopelessly entangled.) Fingers can be pointed in numerous directions:
  • Self-centered youth
  • Egoistic educators
  • Indulgent parents
  • Controlling politicians
  • Manipulative media
  • Power hungry financiers
It's rather interesting that the order in which the responsible parties are listed is actually the opposite order of who carries the most influence. In effect, at the top of the list are the obtuse victims of everyone stacked below them. Most every clash in the streets, whether it's in an urban center in America or overseas, these are the fingerprints of the guilty, no matter what their espoused philosophy. It is the feckless youth, whom distracted parents allow to be indoctrinated by misinformed educators (thinking themselves geniuses), who clog business centers spouting self-righteous hate speech, creating toxic discord. Frankly, had the "white nationalists" been left alone to rally around the monument to General Robert E. Lee, the incident would have passed unnoticed because media dismisses demonstrations of beliefs with which they disagree.

No matter what one's opinion on the "Unite the Right" rally that was planned, the backlash against everything "white" was bound to happen due to the collegiate marginalization of people of supposed non-color To be plain, there is no such thing as white privilege or white guilt, or even race, for that matter. To those that subscribe to evolution, there is only one human species--homo sapiens sapiens, of which there is no scientific subset "race" other than a social construct. These are contrived ideas meant to do one thing--splinter our society to make it ripe for exploitation by those poised with funds, influential voice and arms to subjugate the free society we inherited from our founders. One thing is so, and it affects the nation and the world as a whole: those who have developed power for the love of power want only more power, and they don't care how they acquire it. Thus, "educating" younger generations to believe that they are oppressed when, in truth, they are blessed is the most effective inducement to disrupt the social order for the manipulators' benefit. This tactic has infiltrated every social justice movement in existence. Some of which had a benevolent beginning, such as the American Friends Service Committee, which grew from George Fox's followers' heart to share Christian charity with the infirm and incarcerated during a brutal time in England's history when imprisonment meant starving behind bars unless family or friends fed and clothed them. Today, AFSC has gone so far off message that it supports the hateful rhetoric of rewritten Biblical history that Quakers, at least at one time, believed and confirmed. Granted, proselytizing was not promoted within the Meeting, but living and giving by example was. The question is, how can teaching the hate of a contrived, incorrect history of the Holy Land invented by the PLO and promoted by Hamas, Fatah, Palestinian Authority and every other muslim supremacy group be championed by a so-called pacifist organization? Every Friend should be appalled at the activities of their representative assistance organization. Indeed, I am, who was raised a Quaker.

But this all comes down to re-educating and mis-educating the younger generations who now believe little to nothing of Scripture, thinking that all of it can be conformed to modern social customs that are not modern at all. They are simply a rehashing of every wrong-headed cultural tradition that ever existed. An instance of how youth is easily swayed by its own desires comes from the Bible that even many Christians believe is "behind the times." Solomon, the king proverbially acknowledged to have been the wisest man in history did one thing terribly wrong, he served the gods of his innumerable wives, one of whom was Naamah, an Ammonite and mother of his heir. To please himself and his wives, he neglected his children to the polytheistic influence of their mothers. This included Rehoboam who succeeded him as King of Israel. The first thing Rehoboam did was seek to solidify his power and whose counsel did he take? Not that of seasoned men of wisdom but that of his self-indulgent, spoiled, youthful friends.
2 Chronicles 10:61Then King Rehoboam consulted the elders who had served his father Solomon during his lifetime. "How would you advise me to answer these people?" he asked. 7They replied, "If you will be kind to these people and please them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants." 8But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him. 9He asked them, "What is your advice? How should we answer these people who say to me, 'Lighten the yoke your father put on us'?" 10The young men who had grown up with him replied, "The people have said to you, 'Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but make our yoke lighter.' Now tell them, 'My little finger is thicker than my father's waist. 11My father laid on you a heavy yoke; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions.'"

The result could have been divined by anyone with a nickel's worth of Solomon's wisdom--it was the splitting of the kingdom David built by God's hand. It was the collapse of the richest kingdom in history and the demise of God's plan for His people, all because of youthful ignorance, pride, self-righteousness and recklessness, the same motivation behind fools brandishing sticks and pepper spray against their fellow citizens in Charlottesville; the same misdirection that drives self-styled do-gooders at AFSC to anti-Semitic activity in the Middle East; the same impulse of superior ideology that spurs all kinds of terrorists--Black Lives Matter, environmentalists, antifa and muslims--to despise, demean, harm, even kill those who have the temerity to disagree. Unfortunately, the folly of youth is not always countered by wisdom of elders if those elders have been just as indoctrinated by the same "me first" standards. Solomon said that he did everything he could searching for worldly happiness, which he finally found wasn't possible to attain, that there was no fulfillment except in God. It was this pursuit that abandoned his children to guide themselves and ultimately destroy a powerful kingdom...just as the self-guided, self-seeking youth today are seeding the death of a nation. All on the payroll of self-serving power barons who were also misled by their worldly education. When will we take responsibility to end the cycle?
