Accused Murderer Ryan Alexander Jenkins

Welcome Back to Canada, Ryan. You’re safe now.

Ryan Alexander JenkinsIt should come as a surprise to no one that accused murderer Ryan Alexander Jenkins has returned to his home country of Canada. You see, as soon as Ryan crossed the border he entered a country that will spare no expense to make sure he is never properly punished for the crime of which he is accused should he ever face trial and be convicted in the United States.

Our American readers must understand that Canada’s paramount concern is that nothing untoward happen to Ryan through the U.S. justice system. You know, like facing the death penalty. Do you remember Charles NG the infamous sicko responsible for a number of sex/torture murders in California? Well, our government coddled Mr. Eng for seven long years trying to ensure that he would not be put to death while avoiding the anguish of his victims’ families. Well if we can do that for Eng, then what can you expect Canada’s injustice system to do for a natural born Canadian accused of killing only one person? What Ryan obviously knows is that, if caught, he can stall for a decade from being extradited to the United States. In Canada our focus is entirely on the criminal. You must get it through your heads that Canada does not care about victims. They are nothing but an inconvenience that sometimes, but not often, stands in the way of making sure criminals do not really pay for their crimes. In fact, our judicial system, is focused on decriminalizing crime. It is too much of a burden for us to bear in seeing that the guilty are actually punished. And so, for those of you connected to this case, do not hold your breath in anticipation of seeing Ryan stand trial in the United States anytime soon. Our judges and politicians would simply tell you to “suck it up.” You know, any smart serial killers out there, should consider coming to Canada to do their work. You see, here in Canada, we don’t care how many people you slaughter. Say you sent 100 people to an early grave. While you might be charged with 100 murders, which in itself is highly unlikely, (just ask William Robert Pickton who was charged with 26 murders but only tried on six ) you can only be sentenced for one. And that to a maximum of 25 years. Isn’t that great? The other 99 are free. That also means you can’t be sentenced to multiple life terms. Just one. What a country! We love you. And, if you come here within the next month, we will give you the chance at a Get Out of Jail early card. I kid you not. And to further thwart our injustice system, you can always apply for refugee status claiming you will be tortured in some Utah jail and will face persecution because of your baby blue eyes. That way we can put you on welfare, give you housing and other perks, all valued at more than $4,000 a month. How does that sound? Making bail in Canada is also remarkably easy. Just promise you won’t leave town or be a bad person again, and you’re out. Don’t worry about how serious the charges may be, our officials will believe you. That way you can head out and dispense with any witnesses who might be around. I wish I was kidding about all of this, but I’m not. I am thoroughly enraged that Canada has so little regard for justice in its truest sense of the word. Yes, it has oodles of justice for criminals but none for the victims. Meanwhile my heart goes out to the family and friends of Jasmine Fiore. To see their heart-wrenching pain on television is too much. I just wish I could tell them there is hope they will see justice for Jasmine. But I can’t.
