Many Americans have been convinced for some time that Obama is a closet Islamic. After reading the headlines in the January 22, 2009 Fox News First 100 days of the Presidency “Obama is expected to sign ‘several’ executive orders Thursday, directing the CIA to close secret foreign prisons and Guantanamo Bay, and limiting detention and interrogation methods” he has given more credence to these convictions. He is apparently making it softer and easier for Islamic/Muslims to damage the United States.
In this action the new President is pandering to the ultra anti-American organization, ACLU, which is so openly communistic, and in opposition to everything that our country stands for. With ACLU as a partner, Obama can be expected to be against Christianity, patriotism and love of America. Anyone who is hoping Obama succeeds as our president is hoping for the end of our country as we have known it.
Obama showed early in the primaries that he was not in favor of our country’s traditions of loyalty to the flag and he did not honor our National Anthem in any traditionally respectful way. At some point late in the campaign, either he or his advisors convinced him that he should at least wear a small flag pin in his lapel. But this was for political expediency.
The great majority of his appointments to positions within his new administration show a continuation of opposition to traditional values that this country has favored over its 200 plus years of existence. With a stacked Congress you can expect all of those radicals against tighter security for America to be confirmed, resulting in a drastic weakening in our defenses and a lack of abilities to prevent a takeover by forces with un-American goals.
Obama has proven that he can defy our normal methods of operation by just flatly refusing to prove his claim to be a natural born citizen. This slap in the face and disregard of our Constitution renders that document, which is the source of all of our laws, not just weakened, but non-operational. The precedent has been set and further departures from its requirements can no longer be challenged. And amazingly, our Supreme Court has allowed it to happen by not supporting the Constitutional dictates.
Having succeeded in removing the requirements of the Constitution from his path toward hidden goals, we had better be prepared for more socialistic and totally anti-American forays against our freedoms which will disappear gradually but surely. A highly publicized slogan of recent years, “Freedom isn’t free” will out of necessity be changed to “Freedom isn’t” as we succumb to the rule of force by hostile enemies.
Leave it to a Brit to phrase it so well:

And then there are these words from Mark M. Lichterman, of Author’s Den, which by their own admission is, “The largest most vibrant free online literary community of authors and readers” posted on: January 07, 2009 under the heading, “A Victory for Obama-worshippers”:
“A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.”
By leading us down the path to social democracy the Obama administration will, with each step, drive one more nail into the soul of the once great United States of America.
And the pity of it all is that no one was strong enough to prevent it and it only took 70 million votes for Obama to do it leaving nearly 250 million others to wonder; Why?
Gerald A. “Jerry” McConnell, 92, of Hampton, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 27, 1924 in Altoona, Pa., the fifth son of the late John E. and Grace (Fletcher) McConnell.
Jerry served ten years with the US Marine Corps and participated in the landing against Japanese Army on Guadalcanal and another ten years with the US Air Force. After moving to Hampton in 1957 he started his community activities serving in many capacities.
He shared 72 years of marriage with his wife Betty P. (Hamilton) McConnell. In addition to his wife, family members include nieces and nephews.
