What No One Dares Talk About

All the 'experts' have been contacted. They're on all the morning news shows, hard news programs, talk shows, you name it. They all have an opinion on the Las Vegas shooting. But, when asked the all important question as to why these mass shootings happen, they freeze...you know, the deer in the headlights look. They won't dare consider the obvious. They won't look inward. They look externally, blaming inanimate objects for the grief. They profess to be wise, but they are fools.

They won't consider that our nation and Western society in general has taken a mighty turn and not for good. We have forsaken the God of our fathers. We have tossed aside our Great Protector. We only trust in our own devices, our own 'wisdom.' We have all the trappings, but none of the substance. What was once evil, we now call good. What was once good, we now call evil. We have allowed the godless to rule over us. Our new President is taken down at every turn by those who would destroy what we have built and protected with the blood of many. The liberal does not believe, and wants nothing to do with a Constitution that is based on faith in God. They creep around like serpents calling for a new Constitution to replace our 'outdated' document. They insist on restricting our freedoms and calling it good while protecting and increasing their own. Progressives want to rid this nation of the Judeo-Christian ethic that holds them back. Yes, we have enemies like ISIS and North Korea, but consider this: Our enemies are both foreign AND domestic. Much of the left has morphed into a neo-communist movement that is intent on the destruction of our country. It would be totally consistent for the God of the Bible to use these foreign and domestic enemies to take us to the woodshed and yet hold our foes responsible. Habakkuk of the Old Testament suffered the watching of wickedness and called out to God. God DID answer: Habakkuk: "Why do you make me see iniquity, and cause me to look upon wickedness? Yes, destruction and violence are before me; strife exists and contention arises. Therefore the law is ignored and justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted.

God answers: Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I AM doing something in your days - you would not believe if you were told. For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans (foreign enemies) that fierce and impetuous people who march throughout the earth to seize dwelling places which are not theirs. They are dreaded and feared. Their justice and authority originate with themselves...All of them come for violence...They collect captives like sand...They mock at Kings...They will sweep through like the wind and pass on.. But they will be held guilty. They whose strength is their god. God uses nations, natural forces and the wickedness of evil people to pass judgment on to nations that have forgotten who they are, and then, hold those same nations and people responsible because they would have done the deed had they received the power on their own or not. We have lost our way. We have become two peoples with little in common trying to live side by side, but finding it increasingly difficult. We have allowed ourselves to be accepting and accustomed to a new 'morality.' What we would have considered outrageous just a generation ago is now commonplace. Are we too being judged as a nation, using the holy name of God in vain? I fear we are just seeing the beginning. God help us.
