Who is raising the next generation?

In light of President Trump's advocacy of Western values at the G-20, hard questions must be asked of our current would-be parents, those of childbearing age. More and more young people in Western cultures are opting to avoid procreation and sidestep the responsibility of raising a family. The justifications for choosing to remain single or create a relationship consisting of a married (or 'committed') couple and pets is burgeoning among the millennial and following generation--for the life of me, I can't keep straight the 'X', 'Y', 'Z' nomenclature. Thus the query stands--who will raise the next generation of teachers and preachers, let alone skilled labor, professionals and elected officials? Looks like it's not going to be American, Canadian, European or other 'first world' citizens adhering to their native culture. They're too busy with other endeavors, of which grooming youngsters to continue the West's legacy is not among their priorities.
If there isn't a mental, emotional or physical impediment, the reasons cited for opting not to have children range widely from simple selfishness to a more complicated form of self-interest. Hedonism, on varying levels, is the purest rationale for young people to decide not to bring children into the world and it is this value system (or lack thereof) that drives the monstrous number of abortions occurring in the western world. In America, approximately 2600 pregnancies are terminated every day (2014 stats), the majority of which are children of color. That translates into a human genocide far beyond the proportions of anything historical despots could have imagined. The rationale for killing the unborn may be anything from perpetuating a carefree lifestyle to being fearful of taking on the financial burden of a child. Neither of these, or any motives in between, are justifiable cause to end the life of an innocent. Yet abortion is not only commonplace, it has become conventional in general culture to the point of being funded by tax dollars. (Oregon just passed legislation to that end.) Abortion is only a symptom of the anti-family leaning of modern society. It is an outgrowth of the numerous attacks against traditional marriage and family that is the underlying cause of our crumbling civil order. And it is a back door for feudalism, under the guise of socialism, communism and islam's sharia, to overrun the now secular West. These are hierarchical political systems that install a 'nobility' of politburos and caliphates that subdue the general populace into subject status.

What are the conservative Christians, whose beliefs inspired the most exceptional nation and government to ever grace the earth, doing about it? For the most part, nothing. There are some who hold true to biblical standards and marry, have children and endeavor to raise them up with a respect for God and country. Unfortunately, there are many more who, watching the terrifying demise of western culture, would rather not deliver children into such a broken world. But is that right? Although not fortunate enough to have children myself, which will, without doubt, raise the ire of some who've made the decision to remain childless for what they believe are these benevolent reasons, I will say, "no." Assuming that the world is steadily spiraling further out of the control of rational humanity, this only bolsters my answer. If fewer grounded Christians and conservatives have children whom they raise to honor and preserve our heritage of freedom, then the ignorant, ill- and mis-educated born into radical and oblivious households will inherit the control of government and teaching institutions. With the birth rate among intolerant muslims skyrocketing, it is an assurance that they will overwhelm the liberty that was entrenched in western society where their influx goes unchecked. Already, we are witnessing the overthrow of Europe rising out of the expanding No-Go zones into the general population. Heinous rapes, beatings, vandalism and murders are becoming accepted in unprotected social orders like Sweden, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Britain, where they've finally had enough.

Whereas some cite the coming of the Lord as reason for not rearing God-fearing progeny, the excuse is untenable for, as any rapture believing Christian will truthfully reveal, one cannot know His timing and, after waiting 2000 years, it is not assured that He will come in our lifetime. Even Apostle Paul adjured followers to be prepared but to go about their business, always mindful of being good representatives of Christ (1 Thessalonians Chapter 1). More than once in Scripture are believers exhorted to raise children to know and do what is right in the sight of God--Proverbs 22:6, 4:1, 5:7, 7:24, 8:32. Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. In the New Testament consider 1 Timothy 5:14 where Paul speaks to his protégé about shepherding young widows in the end times, that they bear children; and advising fathers to instill reverence for God--Ephesians 6:4 "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Also, as we battle the growing acceptance of abortion, more children will need to be adopted by Faithful parents. In all, we are called to use the time wisely... "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil..." Ephesians 5:15-17. Even the wish to spare children from the horrors of a declining civilization, is it not selfishness to abandon future generations to wallow in even greater depravity and brutality because there are none to lead who follow God's laws of love and righteousness? Relinquishing this God-created earth to the foolish, the evil and the Godless certainly can't be His will for Mankind. "Training up a child in the way that he should go" makes far more sense. P.S. We can continue to sit on the sidelines or, as in this song which affirms our ministry's motto, we can "Do Something!"
