Will Trump now show Paul Ryan how healthcare is done?

RyanCare is an abysmal attempt for Ryan to make good on his promise to repeal Obamacare. He has wasted a lot of time and energy solely focused on the tax benefits that he might be able to provide, rather than focusing on how to reduce costs for businesses and the country. On the campaign trail Trump promised to reduce the premiums for everyone. He said he would not cut Medicare and that it would be the best plan ever. I don’t think he was talking about RyanCare. He was talking about a radical transformation in our healthcare system. Congress gets far too much money from the established Medical Lobbyist for Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell to do anything of substance.
Only someone with Trump’s level of independence from these lobbyist can actual craft a plan for everyone. Single payer healthcare could be the jewel in Trump arsenal. Once Trump is done allowing Ryan and McConnell whisper in his ear about how to “win” this healthcare debate, perhaps he intends on showing them exactly how it is done. Trump can reduce costs for the US and increase coverage for the people. He can provide choice of doctors and also reduce tons of regulations around our medical field. Paul Ryan is hell-bent on having Ryancare go through at the expense of what would be best for President Trump. But what we have seen is that Ryancare contains a large number of unexpected changes to healthcare far from the promises made by President Trump. It will be interesting to see Trump’s next move.
