Wretched Rachel pulls Trump-dispatched tax return ‘scoop’ out of the rabbit hat

The Swan Song is blaring for Rachel Maddow, reigning Queen of MSNBC. Wretched Rachel set her sights on bringing the Donald down through the release of his tax returns. Instead, she ended up sinking her own leaky boat. It was a classic ‘gotcha’ moment gone terribly wrong.
We can all hear yesterday’s whoops of joy in the MSNBC ‘News’ room’: “I got him!” I got him!” which one day later had much of the country in raucous gales of laughter. What happened, Rach? She went out on the Trump hunt with a contagious condition suffered by 99% of the mainstream media: Blinded by Hate. Hatred is not an emotion that should ever be allowed while out on the Big Hunt. Cool headedness, calm resolve and not boasting you “got the story” until you really have it are best for ‘Scoop of the Century’ success. This is a Hate Game endeauvor where ‘Trump the Shark’ outed ‘Rachel the Snark’ all over both a Boob Tube in decline and the Internet. The outcome of Rachel’s scoop is the unfiltered information that Trump paid a higher tax rate (25%) than her boss MSNBC (24%) and much higher than MSNBC hero Barack Obama (19%) and sworn socialist Bernie Sanders (13%).

Proof positive that people who live in glass houses should stop throwing stones is that Trump paid $38 million in taxes on a declared income of $150 million Pink pu**y cap brigade supporting Rachel Maddow let the wrong cat out of the bag. “On her Tuesday show, Rachel Maddow teased a scoop: She had Donald Trump's 2005 tax returns. It was the first time his federal returns would be released. (CNBC, March 14, 2017 )
“Small digression: MSNBC's Maddow didn't have them. Investigative reporter David Cay Johnston got them, and went on her show to talk about it. “Anyway, when she finally revealed what was in the taxes, it was not a huge deal. Trump earned about $150 million in income in 2005, and paid $38 million in taxes, thanks to the alternative minimum tax, which he wants to kill. “This gives Trump an effective tax rate of about 24 percent, which Johnston pointed out was roughly equal to what he and his wife, who are an upper middle class couple, pay.

“And, sure, for a billionaire, you can argue that he should pay more in taxes. But, $38 million is a big number. As is $150 million in income. “There was speculation, fueled by Trump himself, that he wasn't paying anything in taxes. That led to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attacking him on that front. "The only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax," Clinton said in September. Trump quickly retorted: "That makes me smart." “But, it turns out Trump did pay taxes, at least in 2005.”
The jokers have been running wild all over the Boob Tube, Alec Baldwin playing being President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Kimmel getting in cheap shots at Trump at the academy awards, stand up comedians raking in millions for jokes about orange skin and blonde hair. These jokers should know by know that the audience isn’t laughing with them any more but AT them. They say that he who laughs last laughs longest. The best laugh of all in the misfired, hate inspired Rachel gotcha moments comes with the reporter who passed her Trump’s tax returns. “On Maddow's show, Johnston suggested that Trump may have sent the tax returns to him. It seemed like an odd thing to say. But, when you look at how this is really good for Trump, maybe it's not so crazy after all.” (CNBC) The scoreboard on President Trump and mainstream media haters: Trump, 1, MSM, big fat zero!
