Yesterday was our 447th consecutive Sunday Rally outside the Los Angeles VA to "Save Our Veterans Land" and to "Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME."
It was also a tribute to celebrate the Birthdays of a few of our senior members of the Old Veterans Guard .... Aldo Dipre` – 97-year old WW II Veteran – October 8, 1919; Hank Papeika - 89-year old WW II / Korean War Veteran – October 12, 1927; and Dave Culmer – 85-year old Korean War / Vietnam War Veteran – October 6, 1931.
Aldo could not attend yesterday but we honored his Birthday with a special cake and special posting of the American Flag.
See photos and note that while Mr. Patriot showed his leadership in displaying the American Flag in honor of all men and women who have defended our Nation's Colors for nearly two and a half centuries, four-year old Olivia watched Mr. Patriot and then independently climbed up next to him and displayed her own American Flag, and then she assisted Mr. Patriot in finishing his job.
Well done Olivia! You are a True American Patriot and we are all very proud of you, and so is your uncle who is a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy.
It was a fun and celebratory event with the youngest and oldest enjoying each other's company.
And by the way, a four-year old girl's Patriotism backed down the anti-American VA police yesterday as nobody came out to illegally intervene our public assembly on a public forum and issue falsified arrest citations and illegally seize our American Flags.
Rest assured, they would not have seized Olivia's Flag, nor would they have seized her brother Christian's Frisbee which he enjoyed on the Grand Lawn of the Veterans National Park with his Dad.
Birthday cake and Martinelli's Apple Juice made it an all-American day.
Next Sunday, bring your elders, your children and grandchildren for more All-Americanism in protecting our Veterans land and ending Veteran homelessness in Los Angeles.
And bring your American Flags and follow the lead of Mr. Patriot and four-year old Olivia.
