The real low-down on Pope Francis' Encyclical on Climate Change

By Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh Full Story

Extremely curious at the media allegation that the "scientific Pantheist who advises Pope Francis" and has swayed "Laudato Si" (named so after St. Francis of Assisi's canticle), "seems to believe in Gaia, but not in God," I set out to read for myself the climate change encyclical in Italian.

Happy Independence Day
 By Sandy Stringfellow Full Story

Every 4th of July, patriotic Americans celebrate the fundamental essence of what Thomas Jefferson penned in the Declaration of Independence (with Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert Livingston); a commemoration of July 4th, 1776, upon which day the Thirteen Colonies set forth the explanation and justification for a parting of ways with Great Britain and the tyrannical rule of King George III: the legal separation occurred on July 2nd, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress approved a resolution of independence proposed by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia.

George Takei—too dumb to be a real racist
 By Arthur Weinreb Full Story

As everyone who does not depend on the left wing mainstream media for news knows by now, actor and gay rights spokesman, George Takei, is not too pleased with what Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in his dissenting opinion in the gay marriage case, Obergefell v. Hodges.

Now Even the Supreme Court Ignores Our Constitution and Wears the Hats of Obama-type Fascists
 By Jerry McConnell Full Story

Many American citizens have been openly questioning and wondering if the recent SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States) decisions regarding and Same Sex Marriage are the beginnings of a governmental fascist takeover by self-appointed elitists.

Trump wins battle against Political Correctness
 By Jeff Crouere Full Story

When Donald Trump announced for President, he made some strong statements about the immigration problems facing our nation. He said that Mexico was “bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume, are good people." In essence, Trump noted that Mexico was not sending their scientists and scholars to America.

Can Congress Thwart Obama's Lifeline to the Castros?
 By Arnold Ahlert Full Story

On Wednesday, President Obama announced that the U.S. and Cuba will reestablish diplomatic ties. "This is what change looks like," the president declared. It remains to be seen if Congress will embrace the Communist dictatorship with as much gusto.

Idiot spray-paints # on Dan's church . . . and the pastor offers the most awesome response ever
 By Dan Calabrese Full Story

I got a phone call yesterday morning from my pastor, wanting my help with a matter that had come up. That in itself is not unusual, but the nature of the matter was. In recent weeks we'd had a series of break-in attempts at the church, and while they hadn't succeeded in getting inside the building, they had stolen the very large grill we keep outside for church barbecues and other special events. Well that can be replaced, although not cheaply.

I don't know if you've followed the case of Sweet Cakes by Melissa. This is the now-closed bakery in Oregon that has become a target of state officials because its Christian owners declined to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding.

Is the Clinton Email Coverup Unraveling?
 By Matthew Vadum Full Story

Federal investigators may be closer to seizing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's illicit off-site email server as evidence emerges that she transmitted classified information through it and that key Obama White House officials knew about her clandestine email account for years.

Anti-2nd Amendment gun smuggler, Democrat Leland Yee, headed to prison
 By Robert Laurie Full Story

Hey, remember Leland Yee? Sure you do. He was a left-wing State Senator who represented California's 8th district. He also ran for Mayor of San Francisco, and was generally considered a Bay Area political fixture. He spent most of his time trying to do away with guns and violent video games.

State Of Palestine and Islamic State Highlight International Double Standards
 By David Singer Full Story

UNESCO, the United Nations and just this week - the Vatican - have recognised that the “State of Palestine” exists—despite the fact that it lacks all four basic requirements laid down in Article 1 of the Montevideo Convention 1933:

“The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: a ) a permanent population; b ) a defined territory; c ) government; and d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.”

Whither the “Love” in Illegal Alien Francisco Sanchez, Jeb Bush?
 By John Lillpop   --Crime-Terror-Security

Back in April of 2014, Republican Presidential candidate Jeb Bush created a bit of a furor when he argued that some illegal aliens steal into America unlawfully “out of an act of love,” and, as such, should receive preferential treatment and tolerance.

Bush’s argument was generally met with outright disdain, or amusement, or both. The idea that borders and immigration laws and enforcement should be based on anything other than compliance with the law was correctly seen as a sign that Jeb Bush is not ready for prime time in front of a national audience.

The shrinking workforce of Obama’s America
 By Herman Cain   --American Politics

Ronald Reagan used to counter liberal conventional wisdom by saying he measured compassion, not by how many people the government helps, but by how many people don’t need the help. And he succeeded in that vision by presiding over an economy that grew massively – with net job creation of more than 16 million during his presidency.
In the Year of Our Lord, 2015 and of Our Independence, 239
 By Gary Hunt   --American Politics

Two hundred and thirty-nine year ago, a handful of men, expressing the sentiments that had already been expressed in over ninety similar declarations, committed to paper a consolidation of those documents that had preceded it, and the will of the people of the 13 British colonies of North America.

After over five years of combat, rag-tag farmers, fighting against the greatest military force in the world at that time, prevailed in a war they believed, with honor, to be “the right thing to do.”

And fired the shot heard round the world.

SCOTUS Ignites New Level of Resistance
 By Lloyd Marcus   --American Politics

My sofa felt pretty comfortable. Ninety percent of the time, I’m on the road as chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee. This was a rare occasion to be in town for the Volusia 9/12 Project monthly meeting. I saw the email reminder about the meeting earlier that day and thought it might be good to attend considering the two devastating outrageous rulings handed down by the Supreme Court (Obamacare and same sex marriage).

Mexican Illegal Alien Francisco Sanchez Proves Donald Trump Correct!

Illegal alien celebrates 4th of July jailed for murdering American woman
 By Jim Kouri   --American Politics

At the same time that the news media pile on with negative stories about presidential candidate Donald Trump’s comments about illegal alien rapists, killers and robbers, a case in California tends to prove his point. The suspect arrested by police for the murder of a young woman who strolled the waterfront with her father has been finally identified as an illegal alien who had been deported at least five times by the Homeland Security Department’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement directorate, according to reports on Friday.

UK Police Knew and Did Nothing to Protect Girls from Muslim Predators

Not only do recent revelations concerning the endemic sexual grooming of British girls by Muslim men demonstrate how crippling political correctness is, but they show how political correctness complements the most abusive elements of Islamic law, or Sharia.
Racing Through History
 By Daniel Greenfield   --American Politics

The return of the Confederacy was averted in the summer of 2015 when major retailers frantically scoured through their vast offerings to purge any images of a car from the Dukes of Hazzard. If not for their quick thinking, armies of men in gray might have come marching down the streets of New York and San Francisco to stop off for an Iced Mocha Frappucino ™ at a local Starbucks before restoring slavery.

History will little note nor long remember the tired wage slaves making $7.25 an hour while checking Amazon and eBay databases for tin models of an orange car with a Confederate flag on top. During this courageous defense of the homeland from the scourge of a mildly politically incorrect ‘80s show, Hillary Clinton committed her own unpardonable racist hate crime by saying, “All lives matter”.

Poisonous Rare Plant Used by Russian, Chinese Assassins
 By Wes Porter   --Life-Pets-Gardens-Food

The official state flower of South Carolina since 1924 has been Carolina jasmine Gelsemium sempervirens. Native to southeast United States from Virginia to Texas and onwards south through Mexico into Guatemala, it is one of the classic flowers of the American South, its scented yellow blooms heralding the arrival of spring. Given full a rich, moist, organic soil in full sun the twining vine will cover arbors, verandahs, porches or, unsupported a formal groundcover. The small print at the bottom of the page tells us that the foliage and blossoms are also poisonous.

But rest assured, none of this was intentional!

A helpful list of all the e-mail lies Hillary’s already been caught in

I don’t really have anything new here that we didn’t cover over the course of the past week or two. Hillary hasn’t stopped being a self-serving liar, and she hasn’t become a bigger one because that isn’t possible. But in her Potomac Watch column for the Wall Street Journal, Kim Strassel did a nice job of cataloging what we know so far about just about big a liar Hillary has been concerning her private e-mail server, the e-mails she turned over to the State Department and what they contained.
