That troll posting those fake news stories could be . . . Vladimir Putin?
By Dan Calabrese Thursday, June 11, 2015
Last September 11, residents of Louisiana experienced a brief and minor panic when a news story started going around that a major explosion had occurred in the city of Centerville, at the site of a facility run by Columbian Chemicals. It was quite the story. Links on social media included stories that appeared to have been reported by CNN, and there was even a YouTube video of ISIS claiming responsibility.

Sick Minds in the Media Getting Sicker
By Cliff Kincaid Wednesday, June 10, 2015
Remember the wholesome programs “Touched by an Angel” and “Highway to Heaven?” How things have changed. Fox is preparing a new show simply called “Lucifer,” starring Satan as a good guy.
Broadcaster Jerry Kenney suggests a new title, “I Love Lucifer,” which more accurately captures the trends in the media these days.
NYT daily non-story: After college, Marco Rubio struggled financially. GASP!
By Robert Laurie Tuesday, June 9, 2015
Just yesterday, we discussed the New York Times’ shocking expose on the Rubio family’s 20 year traffic-ticket crime spree. If you read that piece, you know that Marco and his wife have committed the ultimate sin of thumbing their noses at society’s motor vehicle code. They live life in a legally-dubious fast lane - one that comes with the all-too-real risk of misdemeanor citation.
“Happy Pride Month” From the Media
By Cliff Kincaid Friday, June 5, 2015
The coming out of Bruce as Caitlyn Jenner is happening as various sexual minorities are celebrating “Pride Month.” It used to be “Gay Pride Month,” but the number of oppressed sexual minorities seems to be growing at an amazing pace. Without a scorecard, it is hard to keep up.
Sooner or later, pedophilia will emerge as just another orientation.

By Warner Todd Huston Tuesday, June 2, 2015
On his way out the door, long-time CBS “News” hack Bob Schieffer admitted what we on the right have known for decades, that the “news” media thinks they are the gatekeepers of what we, the people, are allowed to know.

Full Disclosure For All!
By Leigh Bravo Wednesday, May 27, 2015
Our government has pushed food labeling to the extreme. Demanding that calories, fat, sugar and other ingredients be fully visible to the public in order for them to be able to make informed decisions about the food they eat. But what about informing the public about the news they receive on a daily basis?

By Daniel Greenfield Wednesday, May 27, 2015
David Letterman’s departure isn’t the end of an era. The era of late night talk shows ended a while back.
In Johnny Carson’s final week in the nineties, he played to an audience of twenty million. Lately, Letterman has been lucky to get 2 million. His final shows have played to around 5 million viewers.
Why Does Liberal Rag Salon.com Hate Our Soldiers? Because They Take Money From Welfare Spending
By Warner Todd Huston Tuesday, May 26, 2015
On this Memorial Day, the anti-American cretins at Salon.com have proclaimed our soldiers to be “dangerous” to the nation. Why? Because spending money on our military takes money away from welfare budgets. And they are serious.
How the Media Got Into Bed with the Clintons
By Cliff Kincaid Friday, May 22, 2015
Republican operative Karl Rove writes in The Wall Street Journal that “few demonstrate as much contempt for journalists as do Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.” That may be true for Obama, but Mrs. Clinton has taken a different approach. Her platforms, the Clinton Foundation and its project, the Clinton Global Initiative, have given the appearance of humanitarian work, drawing many big names from the media into her network of influence. No wonder they treat her with deference and respect. The media have been compromised.
Hillary finally answers some questions - badly. CBS calls her out for dodging
By Robert Laurie Thursday, May 21, 2015
If you’re the kind of person who thinks Hillary Clinton is trying desperately to avoid questions from the media, you owe her an apology. She’s nothing if not completely forthcoming. Despite the fact that she went almost a month without answering a single media inquiry, Mrs. Clinton is an open book - and she’s eager to show off her love of complete and utter transparency.
CBC provides new definition for balanced reporting
By Diane Weber Bederman Monday, May 18, 2015
Last March I once again contacted the CBC regarding their bias-this time against the Harper Government’s response to the Supreme Court ruling allowing the right to wear the niqab during the citizenship ceremony. The Harper government is appealing the decision. For two days CBC Metro Morning with Matt Galloway pushed back against the government with interviews from people who are in favour of wearing the niqab.
Stephanopoulos Fiasco is Par for the Course
By Roger Aronoff Monday, May 18, 2015
What is surprising about the latest George Stephanopoulos controversy is that most of the media are treating it as something unusual rather than an acknowledgement of a problem that’s been plaguing the media for decades. We at Accuracy in Media are happy to see this issue receive the scrutiny it deserves. However, anyone convinced that Stephanopoulos’s ongoing political conflict of interest and failure to disclose it to his viewers is the exception, not the rule, hasn’t been paying attention to a long history of media corruption.
“Gorgeous” George—Unfit for National News!
By John Lillpop Friday, May 15, 2015
For far too long and despite obvious evidence to the contrary, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos has argued vociferously that mainstream media does not reflect a liberal bias.
According to the Stephanopoulos fantasy, network news, including that aired by ABC, is presented in a fair, objective manner based solely on news worthiness. There is, he claims, no evidence that favoritism or censorship is used to slant news in support of liberal politicians and issues.
