Hollywood’s & MSM’s Magic Wand Cures Weinstein’s Sex Addiction in 7 Days

Hollywood’s & MSM’s Magic Wand Cures Weinstein’s Sex Addiction in 7 Days

“Hello Muddah, hello Faddah”!

Guess who just checked out of rehab’s Camp Grenada?

With apologies to the novelty song by Allan Sherman and Lou Busch which hit #2 on the Billboard Hit List for three weeks back in August of 1963, disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been sprung.  Sprung, that is, by signing himself out after ONE WEEK in sex addict rehab.

DC Swamp denizens strike back

EPA reductions in biodiesel mandates

Despite what I thought were persuasive articles over the years (here, here and here, for example), corn ethanol and other biofuel mandates remain embedded in US law. As we have learned, once a government program is created, it becomes virtually impossible to eliminate, revise or even trim fat from it.

This year, it looked like this “rule of perpetuity” might finally change. The Trump-Pruitt Environmental Protection Agency proposed to use its “waiver authority” to reduce its 2018 biodiesel requirement by 15% (315 million gallons) and (possibly) lower the 2019 total down to the 1-billion-gallon minimum mandated by Congress. The proposed action would not affect corn or other ethanol production and blending requirements, despite growing problems with incorporating more ethanol into gasoline.

A Man Hears What He Wants to Hear…

And, many of you might continue along with, “…and disregards the rest.” Which, as most of us now know, is from Paul Simon’s song ‘The Boxer’ from their ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ album. Hopefully Mr. Simon won’t mind, but “troubled waters” is also an excellent description of life in The United States of America today.

I recently read an article by Rush Limbaugh entitled, “We’re Paralyzed By Stupidity” and, might I humbly add, apathy can also be seen as one of our major paralyzing problems.  But, jokingly, who really gives an RA!

Europe’s Next World War Begins in France

Europe's Next World War Begins in France, Islam

Interior Minister Gerard Collomb made it official. France is “in a state of war”.

It’s not just rhetoric. Bombs turn up in a posh Parisian suburb. Two young women are butchered at a train station. And it’s just another week of an Islamic World War III being fought in France.

From the November attacks in 2015 that killed 130 people and wounded another 400+, to the Bastille Day truck ramming attack last year that killed 86 and wounded 458, the war is real.

Above all else, tax reform is about the productive deployment of capital

Why do conservatives want lower taxes? Is it because we hate government, hate the poor and hate the environment?

Is it because we think fat cats need to be fatter?

Attorney Gregg Jarrett is calling on Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein to resign from the investigation into Russian collusion with the Trump administration having themselves been complicit in Russian collusion by approving the sale of 20% of US uranium reserves to Russia.

Mueller and Rosenstein were on the CFIUS committee that approved the sale despite knowing that, as The Hill reported, “Russian nuclear officials were engaged in a racketeering scheme involving bribes, kickbacks and money laundering,” that also ensnared the Clinton Foundation.—More…

Child miners aged four living a hell on Earth so YOU can drive an electric car:

Picking through a mountain of huge rocks with his tiny bare hands, the exhausted little boy makes a pitiful sight.

His name is Dorsen and he is one of an army of children, some just four years old, working in the vast polluted mines of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where toxic red dust burns their eyes, and they run the risk of skin disease and a deadly lung condition. Here, for a wage of just 8p a day, the children are made to check the rocks for the tell-tale chocolate-brown streaks of cobalt – the prized ingredient essential for the batteries that power electric cars.—- More….

Toxic Masculinity Vs. Righteous Masculinity

Toxic Masculinity Vs. Righteous Masculinity

I first became familiar with the term “toxic masculinity” a couple of years ago, and thought to myself “Oh great, some more post-feminist misandrist bulls—t. Misandry is “the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men or boys.”

But I recently read an article by Maureen Ryan that pulled me up short and allowed me to see the light, so to speak. When Ms. Ryan speaks of “toxic masculinity” she is not referring to masculinity per se, but to a very specific type of masculinity… and I could not agree with her more.

George W. Bush’s Speech on Trumpism

Bush, Obama, Trump

After eight years of political silence, what prompted former President George W. Bush’s speech on 29 October 2017, at the “Spirit of Liberty: At Home, In The World” event in New York, described, in the words of CNN, as “a major smackdown on Trumpism?”

“Smackdown” is a gross exaggeration. It was less than that. And it was more than that.

WHO Lied about Dangers of Roundup

According to Reuters the Word Health Organization (WHO) purposefully distorted it’s findings on the weedkiller glyphosate , the key ingredient in Roundup.  Roundup has been the subject of multi-million dollar lawsuits as a result of the U.N. report claiming it is a carcinogen.

An Apple a Day

If only it were as simple as “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Nutrition scientists are in fact constantly scrutinizing the health properties of foods, advises National Geographic‘s Catherine Zuckerman.

All well and good but apples are the world’s third favourite, pipped at the post by mangoes and bananas. And while June is Mango Month and March proclaimed Banana Month, October is not only National Apple Month in the U.S.A. but the 16th is International Eat an Apple Day followed by International Apple Day on 21st October.

The Spirit of Truman and Kennedy Long Ago Departed the DNC

The Spirit of Truman and Kennedy Long Ago Departed the DNC

To those Democrats that think the spirit of Truman and Kennedy is still alive at the DNC:

Many of you Democrats are living in the past. You think the essence of John Kennedy is still alive. You remember his allure, his magnetism, his support for civil rights. But you don’t remember his hatred of communism, his endorsement of low taxes and support for business, his enmity for secret societies and unbridled government. Yes, Kennedy was reckless, but it was HIS recklessness.

Pope Francis Wants To Change 2,000-Year-Old Church Doctrine

Pope Francis shook the Christian world last week at a gathering to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church when he denounced the death penalty as “contrary to the Gospel.” While various popes and bishops have long encouraged civil governments to minimize the use of capital punishment, Francis’s statements constitute a radical departure by claiming that Church doctrine on the issue has been fundamentally wrong for two millennia.

The Catechism itself explains that capital punishment is not inherently evil and within the scope of “legitimate public authority ... to inflict punishment proportionate to the gravity of the offense.” While the next paragraph adds that technological advances have rendered cases in which the death penalty is “absolutely necessary ... very rare, if not practically non-existent.” But even this unusually prudential addition does not proscribe the death penalty in any case, and its first sentence sums up why: “The traditional teaching of the Church does not exclude recourse to the death penalty.”— More…

Trump says he’ll release classified JFK files

This could be gigantic. Or it could be Al Capone’s vaults. And since Trump apparently plans to release some of the files but hold back others because they contain information too sensitive to be unveiled, that could lead to even more conspiratorial theories that the real truth is in the stuff that was held back.

Say, come to think of it, the swamp leaks classified information like it’s coffee in a cup with a crack if it’s embarrassing to Trump. Why is it so dutiful about protecting what’s in these files? Anyway, it looks like we’ll soon find out . . . something:

No Twitter Teddybears for Socialist Students Threatening to Shoot President

Campus Reform Picture

It seems that when university campus ‘snowflakes’ terrified of Donald Trump are not taking advantage of grief counsellors,  hugging teddybears, taking to crayons or play doh, they’re calling for ‘shooting’ the president.

Who knew how brave they could be when not consoling each other in hug groups on campus?
