Robert Reich Implies Trump Incited Sweden’s Migrant Riots

Robert Reich, a professor at UC Berkeley and former U.S. Secretary of Labor, has insinuated that President Donald Trump incited Monday’s riots in Sweden — echoing his unproven conspiracy theory just weeks ago that Breitbart News organized violent demonstrations at his university.

“Trump’s lies have consequences,” Reich wrote Tuesday afternoon on Twitter. “48 hrs after his comments on Sweden, riots broke out in an immigrant community.” His statement refers to President Trump’s comments at a Florida rally this weekend, describing problems in the European country due to heavy migration from Muslim-majority nations:—More…

WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Donald Trump is expected to revoke the Obama administration’s lawless directive that sought to impose a so-called transgender or “bathroom” directive on public schools. Complying with regulations now costs individuals and businesses, both large and small, about $4 trillion every year, according to economists at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center.  That’s about $13,000 per person.

Pipeline protesters set fires ahead of camp closing

CANNON BALL, N.D. –  The last people remaining at a Dakota Access pipeline protest camp prayed and set fire to a handful of wooden structures on Wednesday, hours ahead of a deadline set by the Army Corps of Engineers to close the camp.

Some of the praying protesters said burning the structures — which appeared to include a yurt and a teepee — was part of the ceremony of leaving. As heavy rain turned to snow, some said they expected no trouble during the eviction, despite a heavy law enforcement presence.—More…
