Illegal aliens costing Americans $135 billion a year

Lefties often like to tell us what we could get for the billions that we spend on new military hardware. They’re less enthusiastic about telling us what we could get for the billions we spend on welfare or environmental projects or research grants that study alcoholism in lesbian mice. Or the $135 billion a year that illegal aliens cost us.

The swelling population of illegal immigrants and their kids is costing American taxpayers $135 billion a year, the highest ever, driven by free medical care, education and a huge law enforcement bill, according to the the most authoritative report on the issue yet.

UNDERCOVER IN ANTIFA: Their Tactics and Media Support Exposed!

On Thursday, conservative commentator Steven Crowder released an undercover video (below) exposing the violence-embracing leftist movement Antifa. In the video, two undercover reporters are embedded with the “anti-fascist” lefitst group for a few weeks and capture on video Antifa members discussing the violent tactics they plan to use as well as weapons they plan to carry, including combat knives, AK-47s and other weapons, in order to disrupt an event featuring Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro.

Crowder begins the exposé by explaining that his team of reporters has been “infiltrating this organization for a long time, hard.” The result is evidence that is so damning that the authorities ended up thanking Crowder and his team for their work.—More…

The U.S. District Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has turned down a request from the city for an en banc hearing on the concealed carry case of Wrenn v. District of Columbia, amounting to a strategic win for the Second Amendment Foundation.

According to the court, not a single judge on the court requested a hearing. Earlier, a three-judge panel had ruled in favor of plaintiffs Brian Wrenn and SAF. The case challenges the District’s carry permit policy that requires citizens to provide a “good reason” to be issued a permit. The Appeals Court struck down that requirement.

Oh my: Four arrested when fight breaks out at Berkeley ‘empathy tent’

I would say this is ironic, but that’s only true if don’t recognize the Orwellian nature of the language being used. Just as Antifa is about the most Fascist organization around, most campus “peace activists” are generally at war with just about everyone who doesn’t see the world the way they do.

Empathy is supposed to mean you can identify with the experience or perspective of another person, either because you’ve been there or because you are able to put yourself in their shoes in some way.

Sounds like that went a bit sideways here:

Construction of border wall prototypes gets underway

The Trump administration has begun building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, the signature promise the president made during his campaign for office.

Many commentators have opined that without the promise to build the wall and crack down on illegal immigration Donald Trump would never have beaten Democrat Hillary Clinton last November.

I’m one of them.

California an Accomplice in Terrorism

In a discussion with Melissa Melendez, my assemblywoman in Sacramento, she pointed out to me that a Democrat colleague of hers (Reggie Jones-Sawyer of Los Angeles) actually stated that in California, they don’t need to adhere to the U.S. Constitution.  “We do it anyway.”

To the far left Marxist liberal Democrats in Sacramento, the law of the land and the rule of law means nothing to them.  All that matters is their agenda.

Congress has the authority to make immigration legislation as per Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution.  As per Article VI, any law a State makes that is contrary to constitutional laws on the books made by the United States Government are unconstitutional, and therefore, illegal.

Antifa leader arrested after scuffle in Berkeley

Prominent anti-fascist leader Yvonne Felarca was arrested Tuesday following a rowdy Antifa “Victory March” in Berkeley, California.

Felarca, a 47-year-old middle school teacher who leads the Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights and Fight for Equality by Any Means Necessary (BAMN), was arrested following a scuffle with demonstrators who had turned out for a Patriot Prayer rally.

Images and video obtained by Campus Reform appear to show Felarca being surrounded by numerous police officers in riot gear in the middle of the street. According to an eyewitness on the ground, the activist was then taken to the back of a police car that promptly left the scene.—More…

How the ‘peaceful’ anthem protests are putting police officers’ lives in jeopardy every day

I hate to disagree with Cris Carter, who I love, but this was about as far from the NFL’s finest moment as a thing can be. This was a disgrace.

And as I’ve said before, it’s not because the flag or the national anthem are sacrosanct. Symbols are just that. Symbols. It’s also not because of “the troops and veterans.” They are not the ones being disrespected here.

Campus police have opened a hate-crime investigation into the David Horowitz Freedom Center after its informational posters were circulated around UC Berkeley exposing various radical students and faculty as “terrorist supporters.”

The probe comes as Berkeley shuts down the planned “Free Speech Week” that was to have gotten underway Sunday. Free Speech Week was to be hosted by Milo Yiannopoulos, whose speech on the campus in February was shut down by the violent left-wing radicals of Antifa, the pretended anti-fascist activists. The environment on campus at that time and now is like a scene out of the science fiction novel, Fahrenheit 451, in which authorities organize the extinguishing of free expression instead of protecting it. At Yiannopoulos’s speech and other conservative campus events, Berkeley campus police have at times stood by and done nothing as conservatives were physically assaulted, or in some cases, made it easier for leftists to batter conservatives.

Carlos ‘Anthony Weiner’ Danger sentenced to 21 months in federal prison - 3 years supervised release

I’ll be honest. I thought he’d skate with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. We can dicker over how long we think the sentence ought to be - and if you’re the parent of a teenage girl I’m willing to bet you don’t think this is enough - but the fact that he’s going away at all is kind of surprising.

Weiner faces almost two years in a teenage-girl free environment, and an additional 3 years of supervised release.

Threat of Antifa violence shuts down “Antifa” documentary premiere

The September 25 premier of America Under Siege: Antifa, the latest film from Dangerous Documentaries (like Bombthrowers, a project of the Capital Research Center), at Milo Yiannopoulos’s Free Speech Week at U.C. Berkeley has been cancelled, in part due to security concerns stemming from members of the radical terrorist organization Antifa (short for anti-fascist action) — the very same group the film exposes.

The disruption of the film’s premier is extremely disappointing. Worse, it is a major blow to the First Amendment right to free speech. Let’s be clear: Antifa shut down a film screening criticizing their own extremism by using fear.

Police report: Multiple women accused jailed IT staffer, Imran Awan, of battery, abuse, wiretapping

We’re learning more about Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s favorite IT staffer, Imran Awan, and none of what we’re hearing is good.

You’ll recall that Wasserman Schultz refused to fire Awan, even though she knew he was at the center of a a criminal investigation by the FBI and U.S. Capitol Police. According to the former DNC Chairwoman, he needed protection because he was the target of a racist, bigoted, right-wing witch-hunt. Finally, after he was arrested while trying to flee to Pakistan, she reluctantly sent him packing.

St. Louis was rocked Monday by a third consecutive night of riots organized and carried out by Black Lives Matter after a white cop was acquitted Friday of first-degree murder in the death of a notorious black criminal.

At time of writing, ABC News was reporting that “more than 160 people have now been now arrested, as police have been aggressively arresting more people to curb property destruction and police assaults.

BELLEVUE, WA – Attorneys for the Second Amendment Foundation today filed an amicus brief supporting a request for the U.S. Supreme Court to review a civil case against a Florida sheriff’s office related to the slaying of an innocent man by a sheriff’s deputy who raided the man’s home, unannounced and without warrant or cause.

The case is Young v. Borders. It involves the death of Andrew Lee Scott. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the plaintiffs in this case, citing “qualified immunity” for the officers, which raises serious questions about the ability of police to shoot someone in his own home merely for answering a late-night pounding on his door, with a firearm at his side. According to a summary of the case, sheriff’s deputies did not have a warrant, or announce themselves, and did not suspect the home’s occupants of wrongdoing.

Islamic terrorism—extrinsic or intrinsic?

Since September 11, 2001, there have been 31,722 Islamic terrorist attacks, mostly hitting Muslims. In August, 2017, there were 180 Islamic terrorist attacks in 32 countries, resulting in 1,014 murdered and 1,090 injured.

Christianity is on the verge of extinction in the Middle East. In the past century, over 50% of Middle East Christians emigrated or were killed. According to the May 13, 2015 US House Foreign Affairs Committee testimony, “Christianity could be eradicated from large swaths of the Middle East in the next five years…. In the last decade, the Christian community in Iraq has plummeted from 1.5 million to under 300,000, half of whom are displaced…. [In Muslim countries], there is also real persecution of [Muslim] Yazidis, Turkomen, Shia and Sunni….”

Black Lives Matter Targets Jefferson

The vandalization of a statute of University of Virginia founder Thomas Jefferson by students and Black Lives Matter rioters suggests the Left is escalating the ugly Cultural Revolution-style upheaval that President Obama encouraged in office.

This iconoclastic insurrectionism is spreading, as angry left-wing mobs topple statues of figures from the past they dislike. In Chicago, Bishop James Dukes of Liberation Christian Center is demanding that the names and statues of George Washington and Andrew Jackson be removed from parks. Others want Woodrow Wilson’s name excised from buildings and schools because he supported racial segregation. The list goes on and on.

The unbearable phoniness of Black Lives Matter

Like Holden Caulfield, I am always on the alert for phonies, and one of the biggest phonies to come out of the political/ideological realm these days is the so-called Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. According to, BLM is “a chapter-based national organization working for the validity of Black life… working to (re)build the Black liberation movement…(and) a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-Black racism that permeates our society.”

This is a movement whose three instigating — and supposed racist — incidents were all completely manufactured. Trayvon Martin, contrary to the pictures of a cute 12-year-old that were circulated, was a 17year-old, troubled and aggressive muscle-bound teen, trained in mixed martial arts, who initiated the fight that led to his death. Michael Brown was the huge thug who attacked a cop, and got shot. In the Eric Garner case, a morbidly obese offender vigorously resisted arrest and then died because his diseased body could not withstand the stress.

Walls work. Hungary proves it

Walls keep out people you don’t want. The preceding sentence is so obvious I feel silly writing it. And yet leftists and open-borders fanatics — many of whom are on the payroll of Hungarian exile George Soros — keep making the perfect the enemy of the good, whining that because 100 percent of illegal aliens can’t be kept out of the United States, building a wall on the southern border is a dumb, wasteful, even racist idea.

Under siege by illegals streaming across its frontiers, Hungary has had enough. That country’s courageous prime minister, Viktor Orban, insists that Hungary’s sovereignty be respected by all

St. Louis Protests Manifestation of Hegelian Dialectic

St. Louis, Missouri spent the evening in chaos.  Mob violence.  They called the gatherings a “protest,” but protests are normally peaceable assemblies, not looting, fighting, breaking windows and the setting of fires.

The reason for the upheaval was because a white police officer, Jason Stockley, was found not guilty of murdering a black suspect he had shot while serving on duty.  The suspect, Anthony Lamar Smith, way back in December 2011, was unwilling to comply with the commands of police as they approached him, used his vehicle to slam it into the police cruiser, fled in a high-speed chase that reached speeds of up to 87 miles per hour, appeared to be pulling out a firearm at the end of the chase, and was on parole for gun and drug charges, so the police officer, fearing for his life, fired upon the suspect in self-defense, killing him.

Antifa justify their use of violence

The radical left-wing stormtroopers who call themselves Antifa are “unapologetic about what they describe as the necessary use of violence to combat authoritarianism,” The Hill newspaper got around to noticing.

While both experts on the movement and activists within it emphasize that not everyone who participates in anti-fascist activism engages in violence, they say the use of force is intrinsic to their political philosophy.
