When you see the type of intrusion and attack on Canadian rights and freedoms by our own government that we are experiencing daily, I can’t help but wonder if our military is fighting in vain. The young men and women that have been carried down the Highway of Heroes the past few years have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our Rights and Freedoms.

While Canadians at home allow their government and big business to steal our Rights and Freedoms and discount the sacrifice of our Heroes. People you must get engaged in the process. If you do not, and stand by and allow government to expand and flush the gift that our Heroes given to us and keep your mouths silent, you will get exactly what you deserve. There will be more restrictions, higher taxes, more government that we cannot afford, and theft of your Rights and Freedoms. Very quickly will you become prisoners of the state. You will have to look to the government for all of your needs. Winston Churchill said, Democracy is a totally inadequate system, but it is the best system we have. Participation is a requirement for Democracy to survive. The fight for Freedom is never over and never won. It must be fought daily, for it is on going. Canadians must be engaged, they must be involved in the process if they are to continue to enjoy their Rights and the Freedom that we come to love.
