It should be a crime to pass and unread bill

This latest fiasco of a bill was 1588 pages long and it was a Porky pig farm. Countless emergency pigs running all over the place, from new furniture, to helping special mice in the Bay area, to TV digital coupon programs, special this and special that… oink oink. As I have said before, it was really a “revenge of the Democrats” bill.

The highlight and huge close for the end of this drama queen movie of waste was the bold announcements in congress from so many that they didn’t have time to read most or all of it. Magically, I see that everyone signed it, mostly for and a few against so apparently they had called “the psychic hot line” to get a reading on how to vote. It is obvious to most of us with any brains at all that putting bills through the size of Texas with more barnacles than the Titanic had is a manipulative ploy to get pet projects and interests passed. This is simple exploitation and fraud to the taxpayer and constituent. If our politicians don’t have time to read and study everything flying through committees and coming for a vote, than in my view all bills should be legally limited to 50 pages or less with no more than 3 attachments. The idea isn’t to throw together a monster of green slime that storms through the House and the Senate, intimidating signers into submission so politicians can get their way. It doesn’t take a Ph.D. to figure out why there are over 2500 Tea Parties of peaceful protest going on all around the country on April 15th, tax day. I am speaking at the one in Spokane WA at the convention center. Ours is from 4:30-6:00.
