Take away their ability to vote themselves raises and retroactively take away their lifetime pensions, tie their raises to the cost of living. Make this a true opportunity to serve our country. This is the same medicine that they prescribed for AIG during a fit of political mania and it is only right that they be held to the same standard.
They just ordered over a half billion dollars (550 Million to be exact) of new planes to shuffle themselves around the country. Cancel these orders, which due to negative press it seems they are going to do and require them to fly coach… take away all private aircraft. We are in bad times and our congress doesn’t recognize it.
Require that every member of the House and Senate go under the same plan as all Americans, including the president. Mandate that if they voted for this bill they are required, unless they pay out of pocket for health care, that they and their immediate families are required to go under the public health plan until their demise. One of the biggest swindles in history is that they have excluded themselves from this health care plan.
We can submit to a populist government for four (4) years while we straighten out things in Washington DC. Put in office a populist shadow government, those representatives whom we can trust to protect and serve our interests. Outlaw pork, require that they cannot tag their ‘pet projects’ or ‘good legislation’ to other bills, give power back to the states, reinstitute a “Constitutional Government”, institute a testing system with public access to test scores, to insure that each legislator understands and have read each bill they vote upon. Stop cheating as in allowing speed readers [on staff] to tell them what a bill is about. Set up a testing and reporting system that tells each American how and why each voted for every bill before them. In other words we The People want what Obama promised… complete transparency.
Finally, make government transparent as to how our money is spent. This will set up a power vacuum which the Federal Reserve will perceive as a threat that will have to be dealt with. It is all far worse than you think as they gave several trillion dollars, behind your back, of your money to foreign banks. All this will be less expensive for us, by far, than the current system and the shenanigans which they foist upon us… usually in the feathering of their own nest. If we do this, could it be any worse?
Socialists and others who feel Government is the answer to all of our problems breeds the resentment of the free market where the ability to fail or succeed is inherent. Business, on one hand wants to be sheltered from failure and on the other they want their competition to fail. It is that undeniable juxtaposing of two incompatible thoughts that makes the Socialist what he is and terrifies the Capitalist. If America goes to Socialism… we all will suffer.

Charles Rangel said, “We have a problem in not wanting to attract enough negative attention to the bill [Health Care] in terms of the pay-fors,”, “Let them get a good feel for the coverage.” He also stated that he wanted lawmakers to put forth the more positive aspects of an overhaul first, then they will tell us what the offsetting tax increases and spending cuts are later… likely after they have passed it.
Not only can you count on the fact that they will not tell you all of the cons of the health care legislation, they will distort it so that you will only find out years later… when it is too late… when the greatest health care system in the history of civilization has been destroyed and capitalism has given way to socialism. The result being… there will be no turning back.
Of the $634 billion dollars President Barack Obama proposed in his budget request to Congress as a down payment for the Health Care Plan, it is likely to cost between a 1.5 trillion and 2.4 trillion dollars per year. Bet on the higher side, if you have any sense at all. It will come from a reduction in tax deductions, tax increases, spending cuts to Medicare and Medicaid as well as cuts to private insurers. Cuts to private insurers will diminish the vendors in the health care market and limit your options. Do you see where this is going?

No, Mr. Obama, we may not be a totally Christian nation but we have Christian values and inarguably we were established on the Christian principles of our founding fathers. Depending upon whose poll you are looking at, 75-85 percent of Americans believes in God and espouses Christian values. To the contrary, you [Sir] will not change that by giving speeches of appeasement in foreign lands. We are a land where freedom of religion is hallowed ground, where religion more than any other is what defines us, where church steeples across America dot the landscape, where bibles abound, where generosity is plentiful, where Christian children’s names are the most popular and most importantly where Christianity flourishes.

On 6/2/09 in an interview with France’s Canal Plus, Barack Obama said, “if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world”. Can we get the facts straight, the US has less than 1% of the world’s Muslims and at least 48 other countries have more Muslims. Reputable surveys by Pew put the US Muslim population at 1.8 million. During Barack Obama’s campaign it was forbidden and one risked being attacked by the press if one were to use Barack Hussein Obama’s middle name. Now it is the proper way to address him as he wants to be in step with the Muslim world. In fact he now revels in it, mentioning his Muslim upbringing in speeches and from what I can tell it is the height of political correctness.
On September 8th, 2008 Obama said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos "my Muslim faith”. Does it make you wonder why he never heard 19 years of Rev. Wright’s hate mongering? It makes me wonder?

Is the world’s elite demonizing capitalism for the sake of bringing the masses under control? On April 9th, 2009, a Rasmussen survey indicated that only 53% of Americans believe capitalism is better than socialism. In the survey adults 30 and younger are pretty much evenly divided. Adults over 40 strongly favor capitalism in that only 13% believe socialism is better.

The Obama administration, our courts and our 535 strong Senate and House no longer adhere to our founder’s beliefs that our inalienable rights are God-given and that those rights were to be protected from government intrusion. Even more disturbing, opposing the framers vision, the current administration’s belief is that those rights are given by the state. They have instituted themselves above us rather than as our servants.
They see the death of Capitalism is at hand, and they don’t want to lose the opportunity. Who can deny it, when GM and Chrysler, AIG, insurance firms, Wall Street and many others have been seduced by the threat of being on the bill-of-fare rather than being at the bidding table?
The Obama administration, far surpassing all precedents set by all previous administrations [including the New Deal of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the Great Society of Lyndon Johnson, and the human rights activism of Jimmy Carter] have become America’s most destructive critic. It is clear that Barack Obama considers America a failed country; most fundamentally he believes his election was a mandate to remedy it. Is that what you believe?

A short explanation of how our government expanded its power beyond that which was enumerated in our Constitution is in order. And, of no small consequence is the fact that government moves so slowly that most people can’t keep their eye on the ball. It’s easy to fall for misdirection when you’re preoccupied or bored. A case in point is the federal income tax. Prior to the federal income tax act the federal government had to rely on the voluntary purchase of government bonds to finance itself. Because the American people were not keen on entering World War I and the international banking community had a financial interest in seeing to it that we did, the power elite established the 1913 Income Tax Act. First we [the population] were told it was a way to tax the rich.
Originally, anyone making under $4,000 was exempt. In 1913 this was the rich. In 1933 the IRS was established to monitor and administer this “temporary tax”. In 1941 we were told it would be directly deducted from our paychecks to fuel the war efforts. This would increase badly needed federal cash flow, but after the war it would be restored to annualized billing. In the mean time it crept from 10% to the current national rate of almost 25% to 35% depending upon who’s in office. Barack Obama’s spending spree and budget will make this go to a cumulative 50% [or more] over the next 5-10 years. In other words, the tax rate increase will be staggering over the next decade due to fiscal irresponsibility. Young people, who just don’t get it yet, will be paying for this for the next 20-30 years. We have in the first few months of the Obama administration wiped out the future for one generation of Americans.
Until Americans put their foot down, the Federal Government will keep expanding its power, even though our Constitution has no implied powers beyond its clearly enumerated negative liberties. It is a natural progression of ‘protection of power’ until one runs into someone who has the authority to say stop. That is where you come in, as our forefather’s greatest insight; you have the power to say ‘stop’. On the other hand you have been duped into believing, by the politicians and the American Media, that you can hire surrogates to solve that problem for you. You could not be more wrong!
The injustice and flow of power from the poor and weak to the rich and powerful [the power elite] is increasing like a runaway train down a steep mountain grade. The power elite don’t need any reform. New ideas will only stifle the momentum, which they know is going their way. Nonetheless this is part of your job as the governed. It is your job to see to it that the elected accept your ideas.
