Collective white guilt of the liberal elite

If You’re Conservative, You Ain’t Black

My last column dealt with the collective white guilt of the liberal elite. Right after posting it this story showed up:

It tells of a white student who was beaten by black students on a school bus simply because they did not want him sitting next to them. While the beating went on, other black students cheered. It seems the bus driver, also black, did nothing to stop this. Guaranteed the mainstream media will bury this story just as mach as they buried the identity of the man who was carrying the single shot copy of an AR-15 outside of the Obama Townhall meeting in Phoenix Arizona. It turns out that 28-year-old Chris Broughton, a Phoenix machinist is no where near as pale of complexion as MSNBC reported. The only places I’ve found the story behind the story is in the blogasphere. Syndicated cartoonist Ted Rall writes a syndicated column. Rall, to my utter amazement continues to be published. I’m amazed because Mr. Rall holds no apparent talent for either drawing or writing. Have you ever wondered why the best writers and cartoonists seem to be of a conservative bent? This is because their talent has to so outshine that in the liberal pool that the liberal editors in the press can’t ignore them. In his column of August 27, Rall says:
"Two weeks ago, a right-wing man protested outside the president's health care meeting in New Hampshire wearing a gun strapped to his leg. ... A week later, a dozen men appeared outside Obama's appearance in Phoenix brandishing loaded guns ... (including) one, who carried an AR-15 military-style automatic rifle… "Make no mistake: guns don't have anything to do with health care. This is a revival of Klannism. A black man is president, and the good ol' boys don't like it. That's what this is about: putting him in his place. Which, if they or someone they inspire has their way, will be six feet under. ... "God. The smirks those turds wear!" Mr. Rall went on. "Run a Google Image search on 'Klansmen' or 'lynching.' Same ones."
Vin Suprynowicz, the token libertarian at the Las Vegas Review Journal wrote a rather revealing piece about Chris Broughton. He even went so far as to talk to the man. You should try that sometime, Rall. Use that phone thingie with the numbers…oh, yeah, that’s right. Liberals, especially those of a communist bent to have to check their sources. Rall’s favorite network, MSNBC, more interested in pushing their agenda than actually reporting the truth doctored the photo to hide the reality of Broughton’s race, just as they attempted to hide the race of the man beaten by Obama’s Acorn thugs at another rally. The fact that both men are black bears significant weight here. At another Obama rally a school police officer, not a real cop, just a wannabe (here in the Las Vegas Valley it’s different…real cops all the way around) tells a protestor that he has to remove his sign. When the protestor says this is America and he has rights, the phony cop says “It ain’t America no more.” This took place at Democrat Jim Moran's town hall meeting. At a public meeting there was a proscription against signs bearing pictures. If you showed up with such you were threatened with trespassing charges. This is what one protester was told, "I can charge you with whatever I wanna charge you with". Remember Harry Alford, the head of the Black Chamber of Commerce? This summer he laid into Barbara Boxer hammer and tong, accusing her of “Vile Jim Crow” and comparing her attitude to that of Mississippi in 1954. Boxer apparently believed Harry Alford should be following the party line and let Obama’s crew do whatever they want to do where the environment is concerned. The Democrats had proposed a plan to produce carbon credits and let folks like George Soros, Al Gore and John Edwards, purchase them wholesale through Wall Street and then turn around and add millions to their portfolios by selling those credits to the local power company. The really nasty bit is that the government would require those companies to buy the credits whether they like it or not. It has been estimated that your electric bill would go up at least 25% because of this. Isn’t that neat? Boxer was shocked that Harry Alford didn’t think and act like other black leaders, exclaiming, “But, you’re black!” That is when Harry really let her have it. You can find links to the video of this exchange all across the net. Just don’t try to find the story in any mainstream media source, it isn’t there. Why am I not surprised? I tried. I couldn’t find one major paper that covered this story. The reason, I believe, is that Alford is far too eloquent in his support of conservative values as a black American and he knows way too much about his subject to be allowed wide coverage. This is why his interviews are limited to people like Dennis Miller and the occasional bit on Hannity or Beck. On a local note, my wife teaches at a high school where the population is roughly split between black and Hispanic gang members. I have also taught as a substitute at area schools with roughly the same demographic. Occasionally some of the classes I’ve taken over have been hers. I had found that typically, between the two groups, the rudest students have been black and the most polite the Hispanic. I have also found that the rudeness is shown more to a female teacher than to a man, especially if the man is of my size. So, what makes the difference? I believe it has to be what is taught as home because when I have been in elementary schools that rudeness just isn’t there and demographic studies show that most Hispanic families still have a mother and a father in the house, even if they are working poor. Not so in black families and it isn’t just me saying this; check out Bill Cosby, Judge Joe Brown, Walter Williams and so on. Plenty of very respectable black writers of opinion have expounded on this trend but very little of that opiion has been mentioned by either the mainstream media or our current White House Administration. Some in the mainstream media have even gone so far as to try to belittle Bill Cosby over this. Why? Because people like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, and all the rest of the black socialists, including Barack Obama need that race to be well rooted in desperate victimhood. They need them to be so deeply ingrained in the belief that only by absolute reliance on the nanny state will they ever have anything that they won’t even try to learn how to read. What is really sad is that people like Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the communist wing of the Democrat Party already believe it.
