Join with Sarah Palin in Supporting the 4-25 in Afghanistan!

- Move America Forward 4th Brigade Combat Team is Stationed out of Fort Richardson, Alaska, in Sarah Palin's Backyard

We have been telling you about the story of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division for over a week now. We chose to bring this unit to your specific attention, out of all the units deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, because Colonel Howard wrote a letter talking about the hardships they are currently enduring. The 4-25, 'Spartan Six' are stationed in provinces along the lawless region bordering Pakistan, which is thick with Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters. It is some of the toughest fighting in all of Afghanistan and the 4th BCT has had its share of losses as a result. This month our adoptive Brigade lost three of it's brave troops. The tragic deaths of these dedicated soldiers will not be in vain though, because the Spartan Six are absolutely committed to achieving victory in their mission to eliminate the Taliban! We are now at barely 40% to our goal of raising enough money for every single soldier in the 4th Brigade Combat Team. Please help us reach our goal! We can't let the 4-25 down! Move America Forward has just learned that Sarah Palin was there to send off the 4th Brigade Combat Team at their deployment center at Fort Richardson, Alaska. The former VP contender and Governor of Alaska was at their deployment ceremony in February of this year, still Governor at the time. Sarah Palin supports the troops not only because she recognizes the value of their missions in keeping America safe, but because she as a Blue Star Mom herself, knows the sacrifices that military families make and the extent of the dedication those troops have when they are willing to go off to war in a harsh environment thousands of miles away to defend their country. Speaking at the deployment ceremony for Colonel Howard's troops she said,
'As you deploy to Afghanistan, to the border there especially where there is so much instability and so much danger, we remember the previous success of this brigade as part of last year's troop surge a turning point in the war. You proved then that you are skilled professionals, highly trained, battle ready. You are strong, and today you are well prepared to face any challenge. Your new mission is a worthy one: to save lives, to defend, and to honor freedom.'
Sarah Palin honors the troops of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry. She knows they are deploying to the most dangerous region in Afghanistan. She knows that the families are going through a tough time as well as the troops themselves who are fighting the Taliban. Send them some comfort and encouragement in a box today! Support Col. Howard's brave soldiers!
