“To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect Happiness.”We cannot permit the current leaders in the White House and Halls of Congress to continue in their efforts to lead us down the road of Progressive Socialism. This is the current battle we Constitutionalists face and we must be aggressive in our efforts. Demand Resignation of corrupt officials by the people of this country is required before more damage is done before our 2010 elections. The oath is simple and reads:
“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”Sadly, we have seen them violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant and some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder. The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution, which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances. Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address,
“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.”We are a representative republic, not a democracy. “Rising up” means non-violent revolution. The people must “rise up” from the grass roots; we must think of the greater good. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, elections, and impeachment. Let’s take a look at an issue that no one addressees. Can anyone in America recall the last diplomatic victory in the United States foreign policy portfolio? Evidence emanating from various commissions, groups, and prominent individuals strongly suggests the State Department is not sufficiently disciplined, organized, and staffed to effectively carry out its prime mission of making the world more secure, democratic, and prosperous to the benefit of the American people and international community. Maybe the last time was when the Iron Curtain fell in 1989? Since that time we have witnessed a foreign policy of appeasement and naiveté in world affairs. We have seen a continued policy of dealing from weakness rather than strength that has imbued into a declining respect for America around the world. We have dismissed militarily the word VICTORY but as well it appears our diplomats cannot strive and achieve any VICTORY diplomatically. And what I mean by victory in the case of the State Department are successes with our allies and friends who look to America for leadership and courage. In 2010, we see a complete failure in foreign policy where the Obama administration is isolating Israel at the risk of emboldening Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah. What is the State Department doing? Obama last night totally humiliated Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli delegation. What kind of diplomacy is this? Exacerbating an East Jerusalem housing issue out of proportion for what ends? The answer is a lack and continuation of profound enlightened diplomacy and leadership! Back to domestic affairs issues…… America’s reliance on government has reached an all-time high in 2010 – relying on the government dole like never before. People are taking more aid from the government than they are paying in taxes.
