imageThe rude, crude and lewd words of dufus Vice President Joe Biden have been immortalized in an Obama T-shirt. Just in time for Easter, Organizing for America launched the Health Reform BFD T-shirt announcing that Obama’s health reform is as Biden said, a “big fu$$ing deal.” Obama’s in-your-face “bring it on” style will mock the majority of Americans who are against ObamaCare in a tacky T-shirt.

“At a White House ceremony for Obama to seal passage of the legislation by giving it his signature, vice-president Joe Biden gave an introduction praising Obama’s leadership.” (guardian.co.uk, March 23, 2010). “Mr. President, you’re the guy that made it happen,” he said, before embracing Obama and excitedly whispering in his ear. “This is a big fu$$ing deal!” The aside may have been made for Obama’s ears alone but it was picked up (on) the microphone on the podium and broadcast to the watching television audience of millions.” “Applause drowned out Biden’s comment to the dignitaries in the East Room but the reaction on blogs and cable news channels was instantaneous. “The vice-president used a word that most of us would never use in front of our mother,” said CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, explaining why his network bleeped out the remark in its replays. Ben Smith, a blogger for the Politico website, labelled it: “The mother of all Joe Biden comments.” Shortly after, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs embraced Biden’s reply, by writing on Twitter: “And yes, Mr. Vice President, you’re right.” The Guardian needn’t have worried about the F bomb being heard by millions of television viewers. Biden’s words will go on to mock Americans on the ubiquitous T-shirt for anyone who pays $25 to the OFA. BFD has become the signature for the Barack Obama regime. Just in case the great unwashed didn’t know, “There are things that are a big deal--birthdays, anniversaries the NCAA Championship Game. And then there are things that are a BFD like delivering health insurance to 32 million Americans. We worked hard together to make health reform a reality and now you can celebrate this historic victory with this shirt,” states the OFA on its homepage. “This shirt is super soft, fine jersey cotton, union-printed and made in the USA.” Overnight, America is the scene of a schoolyard fight with a bullyboy government openly using the F-word to get its message across. Joe’s and Obama’s Mamas never taught their little boys that street language belongs in the sewer and that it isn’t nice to gloat. Meanwhile there may be a mystery where Obama was born, but one place he missed along life’s way was the College of Couth.
