Many other issues besides just Obama-Care, dividing Americans -- abortion, redistribution of wealth, social justice, welfare, illegal aliens

Something in the Air

"There are now two Americas: one conservative; the other liberal. Increasingly, we no longer just disagree, but we despise each other." -- Jeffrey Kuhner "Will America Break" "You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man's age-old dream -- the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order -- or down to the ash heap of totalitarianism." -- Ronald Reagan (1911-2004)

"If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." --Samuel Adams (1722-1803) Call out the instigators Because there's something in the air We've got to get together sooner or later Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right And you know that it's right --Thunderclap Newman "Something in the Air"
Some people are saying that this is the most perilous period in recent memory. I'm a fair student of history, and I would say that to find America's population so deeply, and acrimoniously, at odds with one another, you'd have to go back to the Civil War. As I write this, in some states, both the Governor and the Attorney General oppose the latest massive federal legislation (Obama-Care); in other states the Governor opposes it, and the Attorney General supports it, or the Attorney General opposes it, and the Governor supports it. In some states both the Governor and Attorney General support it, while the Lt. Governor opposes it. And on it goes, in myriad variations. There are, of course, many other issues besides just Obama-Care, dividing Americans -- abortion, redistribution of wealth, social justice, welfare, illegal aliens, and on, and on, and on. The U.S. southern border is a powder keg primed to explode. The divisions separating liberals and conservatives are deep, wide, profound -- and perhaps irreconcilable.

Liberals are discovering that they aren't thrilled with the idea of a fascist-style NWO, run by a cabal of banks, big corporations, and a Global Elite

And it's hardly just conservatives who are angry. The battle lines are still shifting, and a gratifyingly large number of liberals are discovering that they aren't thrilled with the idea of a fascist-style NWO, run by a cabal of banks, big corporations, and a Global Elite. Extremists at both ends of the political spectrum are, as always, ready to explode at the slightest excuse -- or no excuse -- and the Far Left is increasingly of the opinion that our current government isn't Marxist enough, or isn't practicing the "right type" of Marxism. It appears that moderates, either of the liberal, or RINO variety, are fast becoming passe -- insignificant features on the political landscape. Like it or not, extremism rules the day, and it's "shake and bake" time, culturally, politically, and even geographically (if recent earthquakes are anything to go by). It's an accepted fact by now, that the Lame Stream Media is merely the propaganda arm of the regressive, repressive Progressives, and that our U.S. government Departments are all "Agenda 21 friendly," and aligned with "political correctness." This, despite the fact that Agenda 21 is a UN, and not a U.S., agenda, and PC is obviously nothing but a way of censoring all but "Far Left approved" speech.

Insidious nature of Agenda 21

But in a relatively short period of time, "we the people" have awakened to the insidious nature of Agenda 21, and the shock value of being labeled a "racist," "homophobe,"" Islamaphobe," or whatever the current "phobe-de-jour" is, has lost most of its power to intimidate and silence. Many patriotic Americans are simply fed-up, and way past the point of caring what slurs are hurled their way anymore. They're looking for answers, action, and direction. What is the best option available to patriotic, conservative Americans? Is it time to tip-toe on eggshells, or time to use every peaceful means of resistance at our disposal -- or is it time to rip this thing wide open, and take it to the streets? Or some combination of all the above? "We the people" know that as bad as things are economically, things can get drastically worse, very quickly, and irrevocably. We know that allowing America to stay on its present course of "tax and spend," is not only unsustainable, but will lead inexorably to financial ruin. We ask ourselves, at what point do "we the people" say ENOUGH? Where do we turn, where do we go? The Tea Party looks increasingly attractive to an ever-expanding bloc of people. The Tea Party is, perhaps surprisingly, much more centrist then the pundits are willing, or able, to admit. There's also a rapidly growing group of activists located somewhere between the Tea Party, and the anarchists at the extreme right. This group is growing in strength, passion, and power daily. More about them in a moment, but for now let’s look at the Tea Party. The Tea Party is poised to become the de facto Patriotic Party, and is increasingly in the center of the political spectrum -- former Democrats now make up about 40% of the Tea Party's membership. They stand ready to support a Democrat, or a Republican, or an Independent candidate -- of course, because of the nature of politics, the Republicans will garner the bulk of the Tea Party’s support. These folks are by and large opposed to violent revolution -- in fact, they see violence as being not only counter-productive, but playing into the hands of the Progressive globalists. They feel that any violence will give the Progressives the excuse they're looking for to declare martial law -- and then we really will be screwed. Hang tough until November, they urge, and after we get a large number of true patriots elected into positions of power, we'll be in a much better position to make some moves. Their advice, is to use every peaceful means at our disposal, to slow down or stop the Progressive agenda, while we prepare to sweep the House and Senate in November. There are a number of peaceful ways to slow down the Obama/Reid/Pelosi train wreck, they say. For example, there's a lot of "smoke and mirrors" surrounding Obama's eligibility to be POTUS, and, as the saying has it, "where there's smoke there's fire." You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out there's a lot being hidden from "we the people," and that bringing some of these things out into the open, will result in a real "game changer." Can you say quo warranto? A recent article by Marion Valentine in Canada Free Press, argued that we are seeing the final steps of the second phase of a four-phase takeover of America. According to Valentine, these final steps consist of:
  • Discrediting and intimidating dissenters
  • Creating a crisis in order to declare a national emergency and martial law.
  • Creating violent civic unrest and blaming it on the dissenters.
Do we really want to walk right into a trap, through our violent activities? Some conservatives argue to hold on just a bit more, and the Progressive facade will fall apart of its own accord. The Progressive juggernaut has been splintering for months, and all we need to do is nudge it along a bit, and it'll break apart into the contentious factions that merged to form it. Copenhagen was a disaster, the H1N1 scam didn't go as planned, and no way did they plan on Obama-Care taking over a year to get pushed through. Not everything has gone the Progressive's way, not by a long shot. "Be patient," they advise, "we just have to hold on a little longer." As I mentioned earlier, because of the rightward shift of the political spectrum, the Tea Party has become increasingly "centrist," and in between the Tea Party and the anarchists at the Extreme Right, has emerged a group of patriots, who, for simplicity’s sake, I'll call the Far Right, who couldn't disagree more with the idea of "peaceful resistance." "Bull," they say. "The time for talk is over!" "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!" -- or words to that effect. Hand out the arms and ammo. They feel that the Progressives won't stop until they are made to stop -- forcefully. Force and subterfuge is how Marxists have always acquired power, and it's all they understand and respect. The Far Right says "hit 'em hard; hit 'em fast, and hit 'em NOW." Every day that they remain in power is another day for the globalists to lay waste to America, and entrench themselves further. Today is the time to strike -- yesterday would have been better! Don't talk to the Far Right about martial law -- they're already at war! They believe that the Founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves at what a bunch of mewling, weak-willed milquetoasts Americans have turned into. Where's your friggin' backbone! The Progressive s.o.b.s can cause a "Reichstag fire incident” any time they choose, and then where will we be? We have to STOP reacting to their moves, and start making some moves of our own -- forceful moves, revolutionary moves! These weasels are now the power structure, let them start reacting for a change! Jonah Goldberg recently wrote, "Conservatives like America’s economic growth, its dynamism and innovation." You had better believe it, and we're not going down without a fight. In fact, we're not going down at all -- we're taking America back, and we're not stopping until we've reacquired all of the power that's been stripped from "we the people" over the last hundred-plus years. What are we waiting for? John Brown helped to start the process of America throwing off the chains of slavery. Where's our John Brown? Where's our Washington? Where are our leaders of integrity and action? Let's go! Let's move! Let's roll! NOW! That's an example of how the Far Right is talking these days. The liberals are worried about the Tea Party? They ain't seen nothin' yet. Although the Tea Party has elements who share such Far Right views, they are very much in the minority (so far), and the Tea Party is (contrary to what the talking heads would have us believe) relatively moderate in comparison.

Far Right is growing exponentially

From what I've been able to pick up from various conservative media outlets, the Far Right is growing exponentially, both in and out (mostly out) of the Tea Party. They will soon be a force to be reckoned with – ask renowned radio talk-show host Michael Savage. I'm in nobody's "loop" regarding these things (nor do I want to be), but although the November elections are relatively close, they're also relatively far away -- a lot can happen between now and then. Can the lid be kept on things that long? Do we want it to? I don't trust the Progressives for a moment, and I do not take the fact that elections will be held next November as a given. All bets are off with the current crowd holding the power in D.C. So, although I lean toward peaceful solutions; I'm on my toes, and I'm leaving myself open to the option of changing my mind -- in a nanosecond. As John Lennon once said, "Nobody told me there'd be days like these -- strange days indeed." Iranian President Ahmadinejad, and most of the Iranian theocracy believe that the time for the return of the 12th Imam (Al-Mahdi) draws nigh -- as does a time of "chaos and civil war." Christians around the world are waiting (impatiently, in some cases) for the "End Days" of Armageddon and the Second Coming. A number of New Agers, and others, are looking at December 21, 2012 -- the end of a Mayan calendar cycle -- as being the day the world ends. All in all, the current hoopla is making the fuss over Y2K look like a tempest in a teapot. It must be something in the water -- or in the air. Perhaps we're simply in the midst of an expansion of Teilhard de Chardin's Noosphere -- a wrenching, but ultimately benign, readjustment of the planetary consciousness -- a cosmic shake-up, designed to "remold reality nearer to the heart's desire." Then again, perhaps these are indeed the "End Days." It's a good idea to be prepared for multiple possibilities anymore. While resting serenely in the knowledge that God's-will reigns supreme, it's nonetheless comforting to have a "Plan B," and a "Plan C," and a "Plan D," and a "Plan...."
