Obama's tax policies are the single greatest impediment to middle class prosperity and overall economic growth

Once Presumed Messiah Now a Battering Ram: Take off the Gloves, GOP!

The latest outrage from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has our dithering president demanding that Republicans restore unemployment benefits.

As reported, in part, at CNBC. Com:
“President Barack Obama took aim at Republican lawmakers Monday, accusing them of holding the public hostage to Washington politics by blocking extended unemployment benefits for millions of out of work Americans. "It's time to do what's right, not for the next election, but for the middle class," Obama said in a presidential jawboning statement in the Rose Garden Monday morning.”
This from the man whose tax policies are the single greatest impediment to middle class prosperity and overall economic growth, and the same man who promised to cut middle class taxes. Republicans need to hold their ground on this issue and remind Obama that it was he who signed a nearly trillion dollar “stimulus” bill which was supposed to save or create 3.5 to-4 million jobs, and keep unemployment below 8 percent. That was nearly 18 months ago. Today, 15 million Americans are still out of work, unemployment is closer to 11% than 8% and the federal deficit has exploded out of control. Before agreeing to spend even one more nickel on unemployment, the GOP must demand a full and complete accounting for the trillion dollars that Obama promised would fix the economy. Any stimulus monies not yet wasted on liberal nonsense should be used to fund any extension of unemployment benefits. Come on, conservatives! Take off those gloves and fight with all you got to prevent this Marxist community organizer and his radical colleagues in Congress from dumping even more debt on the backs of taxpayers. Do it for the middle class, the poor, and God knows how many generations of unborn Americans!
