Leaning on Levity to Deliver Us from Obama

imageIn times like this we all need a little levity. Leaning on levity can pull you through the blackest of days. While some are stashing “bug outs” in the trunks of their cars should an escape hatch be needed before November 2, Barack and Michelle are off on yet ANOTHER vacation. During their weekend getaway in Florida, they came up with their Bill and Hillary bathing suit dance, Obama style. Only theirs was a picture of the hands only as they romantically held hands on the rail of a Gulf ferry. Just one week before Michelle left Barack on his lonesome for his 49th birthday, but heck a photo op is a photo op when you’re crashing in popularity polls.

It’s not just the Obama side providing all the levity; it’s coming from “our side” too. On Tuesday came pictures on Drudge of Chris Ruddy’s romp through NewsMax with former President Bill Clinton. On a whistle-stop tour through West Palm Beach, Hillary’s hubby stopped long enough to pose for pictures with NewsMax staff. Let all the conspiracy theorists out there make what they want of it. On Wednesday an affronted Joseph Farah over at World Net Daily cancelled Ann Coulter’s keynote speaking engagement on WND’s Taking America Back National Conference next month. WND is taking to the high seas in a Caribbean cruise to Take America Back. Couldn’t they do the same thing in say, Duluth? Farah describes his decision to dump Coulter as “heart-wrenching”, but makes it clear he is retaining her weekly WND column. Coulter was caught planning to address an upcoming event called “HOMOCON”, sponsored by the homosexual Republican Group GOProud that promotes same-sex marriage and “open” homosexuals in the military. WHAT? Does this mean there are openly Gay Repubs, too? Hey, GOProud, just standing up to Obama and his power crazed Czars would have been good enough for some of us. Not too worried about Saving America out on the Caribbean, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, Ambassador Alan Keyes and Colorado gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo will still be on board--sans Coulter. If this isn’t a draw enough to have you drop everything at home and take to the high seas next month, WND speakers Jerome Corsi, Aaron Klein and David Kupelian are all listed as speakers. One of WND’s not-so-secret agents has been trying to track down CFP as a sponsor of the event. May be worth it if Corsi coughs up those emails from Kenya he long ago promised, or if WND changes its mind about the Caribbean and decides to “Take Back America” from the much more American Mississippi River. That’s levity from “our side”. Levity on the other side is even more hilarious. The Democrats are spreading falsehoods that GOP is trying to politicize the Ground Zero Mosque. And just to think we thought it was Imam Rouf! Meanwhile, Mommies of all those little kids, whose lemonade stands were not wiped out by bureaucracy, are robbing piggybanks to send $5 to Obama. They believe that “only $5 by midnight Aug. 31” will save the victim Dems from those GOP and Tea Party “extremists”. Yep, there are only 886 days left until Obama leaves office and you can find levity almost anywhere.
