Racial Equality Can Be Reached if Everybody Works At It

The days of race sensitivity should end. No longer should a person be afraid to speak his or her mind over a racially tinged matter. This has been the rule that blacks follow; saying whatever they wish about whites, whenever they please.

It is a two-edged sword that cuts both ways. If a black can threaten to kill white babies, and do it with impunity, then there is no reason why whites should not have the same privilege to threaten black babies without recourse. Of course, most blacks and whites would never do such a thing as they pride themselves in being sane and rational human beings. I can't say the same about Black Panthers in particular. They are interested only in black power. They are like the mouse that taunts and screeches at the elephant. Because the elephant is timid, it looks and acts afraid when just lifting one hoof and slamming it down on the mouse would end the confrontation. Oh, of course, there are cases where the mighty Black Power is evident; particularly at the voting polls against very senior white citizens that could get blown down by a strong wind. The Black Panthers have met their prey and they strut about shouting Black Panther epithets and scary orders. But even there they prefer to be numerically superior for added protection. The new "hate speech" law that our racist liberal Democrats rammed through Congress and our racist liberal president signed very willingly again seems to work only in one direction: against the whites, while it protects the blacks. But they had better learn that they are less than 20 percent of our population while whites are around 70 percent. Whites are known and praised for their tolerance and acceptance of imaginary or supposed grievances from blacks; but the blacks had better not push too hard with this new phony tool of "hate speech" law because tolerances can be dimmed by ill-conceived threats. For so long now, blacks have taken for granted total immunity for any and all transgressions; in particular, the black liberal Democrat politicians. Look at the current cases involving Representatives Charley Rangel and Maxine Waters; it's disgraceful the way they feel that their sins and omissions of wrong-doing should just be swept under the rug and forgotten. Their arrogance is appalling if not insulting to good, honest, God-loving people, including the very large number of decent, law-abiding, hard working and educated other black-skinned people. These normal American citizens who look to better themselves without having to put their hands out for favors at every turn, are probably just as turned off by the bad apples that make so much trouble for themselves and others as well. They are good neighbors and help to make America a better country. We are only just a short time removed from another black law-breaking liberal Congressman culprit named William Jefferson (D-LA) who was caught red-handed with a huge bundle of ill-gotten currency, flash-freeze-wrapped and stored in the freezer in his home. At least he did finally after years of dodging and averting truthful questioning, face the music, was convicted of bribery, sentenced to 13 years in prison and is now dancing the jail-bird waltz in a federal prison. But the overall attitude and feeling of invincibility as well as shock and surprise that they could be subjected to atone for their misdeeds is more than disgusting, it's deplorable. They think that just because they are black they have a right to act and feel that way; just as many blacks feel that they are owed reparations for the sins of slavery that white people imposed on their ancestors centuries before. So many white Americans have kowtowed to their every demand and insistence for so many years since the end of slavery in the eighteen hundreds; forgiveness is no longer requested but is expected. Black politicians take these feelings a step further and at times DEMAND that the rest of us just go away and let them do as they damn well please. A large part of the problem is their constituency that voted them into power in the first place. The stranglehold these elected miscreants have over the districts that put them in office makes them view their positions as PERMANENT representatives, for as long as they choose to stay. And more often that not, that is the case. The liberal Democrats, both black and white, sometimes forget that they serve ALL of the people, not just those of color. But these liberal Democrats feel that they are entitled to take anything they like once they are elected, even when such actions prove to be against the law. But many of them go too far and should be given more than a slap on the wrist. The website as shown below provides the names of the law-makers turned law-breaker in recent years. You will notice that the list contains the names of 23 Democrats and 8 Republicans; a striking THREE to ONE margin. This is one of the very big reasons why TERM (or service) LIMITS MUST be made part of the package of public service. Civilian legislators as the country's founders perceived our governing class should serve a minimum number of years and then return to their homes to resume their civilian careers. They should NOT be allowed to make government careers by elections. The possibility for corruption is too prevalent. Term limits should be determined by a limited number of YEARS not necessarily elected TERMS. The Constitution will have to be amended so the language should also amend the length of the terms from the existing six years for senators and 2 years for representative. An elected term for each house should be for TWO years with allowances for ONE additional TWO year term if reelected; a total of FOUR years. That is enough time away from home, but enough also for an individual to feel as though their service was meaningful and productive. There would be no need for politicians to get corrupted while trying to serve for as long as they can. Anything beyond four years becomes career oriented. With a meaningful reduction in the gross annual salary compensation, it will not overly burden the fiscal treasury of the country; and there will be no retirement programs to carry expenses into decades of the future. The current embarrassment of graft, corruption and illegal activities while in office will disappear once the rewards for lengthy service no longer apply. We will once again become proud to be Americans.
