The Obama Administration put a moratorium on oil exploration and drilling in Gulf of Mexico waters [lifted today ... October Surprise anyone?]. But it is apparently OK to allow the Red Chinese to drill for Oil and Gas on United States soil! [article]

In Texas? Sam Houston is rolling in his grave! Not content at Nationalizing American Industry and "Fundamentally Transforming" America, is Obama now inviting in the the Red Chinese to rebuild America's oil industry with American Technology and American Labor? "Down with US Imperialism?" ... no wait, uh ... "Hope and Change?" ... no wait, uh ... "Vote Democrat?" ... no, uh ... "Obama-Clinton '12?" ... no, uh ... Not "No!" but ,"Hell No!" Some might say,"I guess a fella' has to be able to feed his family." I say, "Remember the Alamo!" Texans rise up! Just say no to Red China! Here's a better plan:
  • Throw off your Obamanite Marxist chains. Vote them out of office beginning on November 2, and in every election thereafter until we have a traditional and true Republican versus Democrat debate once again.
  • Elect officials who say yes to proven Free Market Economics instead of failed Marxist Pipe-dreams.
  • Reduce or eliminate unproductive and obsolete regulations and laws of a bygone era.
  • Correct the Climate Change "end of the world" fiction. Replace it with solid science and facts, instead of the science fiction of that environmental fat cat, Al Gore.
  • Repeal the overly restrictive environmental-wacko strangleholds on the EPA and our Fossil Fuel development and energy independence.
  • End special interest group controls that throttle our energy production in Nuclear Fuels and Power plant construction.
  • Turn loose our great expertise in Shale Oil extraction. High-tech companies like Devon, Brigham, Kodiak and Apache are already booming in the Green River Formations in Wyoming and the Bakken Formation in Montana and North Dakota.
  • Let's get off of our butts and get started. Folks want to get back to work!
But, if slackards in control really go ahead and let the Red Chinese move into Texas [I get shudders just thinking of that!] then you had better learn a new song. Here is my rendition of a familiar song for y'all to sing if the the Yellow Rose of Texas and San Antonio Rose choose to go "Red:" "End of the Road" [with apologies to Roger Miller] " ... Trailers for sale or rent ... Lands to lease 50 cents ... No phone, no food, no pets ... Do they own our country yet? ... Two decades pushin' booms ... Brought Reds to our living rooms ... Now we're : men without means, but more liens ... End of the road!"
