Constitution are lost on Jesse Jackson, Jr. and the entire regressive-Progressive confederacy

Earth to Jesse, Jr. - look to your own people!

I hadn’t planned on addressing the crisis in education in successive op-ed columns, but after hearing just a portion of the rants of Jesse Jackson, Jr., it is apparent that the facts about our Constitution are lost on him and the entire regressive-Progressive confederacy. Earth to Jesse, Jr. - look to your own people for much of the malaise you despise.

By ‘your people,’ I mean Democrats and union leaders. Politicians in both parties, but especially Democrats, and union leaders have been abusing taxpayers and students for decades, and the curtain in the Land of Oz is finally being pulled back on these wizards. When is the insanity going to end? The use of the term ‘insanity’ is not intended to be a personal slight, but to reiterate the definition of insanity, ‘doing the same thing over-and-over, and expecting a different result.’ Both politicians and union leaders have become addicted to the powerfully addictive drug of OPM … ‘Other People’s Money,’ and have been milking the dairy herd of taxpayers to the point that there is no milk left. Where was Jesse, Jr., regarding the stifling of charter schools in Washington, D. C.? What has he done to thwart the thuggish actions being inflicted by the school board and Democrats upon the students and their parents at McKinley Elementary school in Compton, CA? Has he stood up for the students in WI when the teachers fraudulently called in sick? Has Mr. Jackson, Jr., confronted the Kansas City, MO school board regarding the revolving door of the Superintendent’s office that has deprived the students and teachers of stability over many years? The associated increases in costs and court-mandated costs have drained the taxpayers, yet the students have not been provided a commensurate increase in educational opportunities. What are the constants to the majority of underperforming school in the county? First, many of the students come from lower-income and/or single family homes. These students are the ‘invisible’ salmon of the public education stream, swimming against the current and dodging the bears’ claws of criminal activity within the community. These children need adults with the character and maturity to act in the students’ best interests, both in and out of school, but they have become victims of the NEA and politicians, who act in their own self-interests, fighting against the solutions needed to give these students a fighting chance as adults. Secondly, taxpayers are consistently asked to approve tax increases, yet student scores rarely increase. If the taxpayers resist the call for tax increases for education, they are accused of being heartless rogues. Thirdly, when parents step forward to demand a better education for their children, as with McKinley Elementary, they are subjected to a blitzkrieg of clandestine thuggery that thwarts the will of the people!

Our Constitution was written for the express purpose of limiting the intrusion of government rogues upon its citizens

Our Constitution was written for the express purpose of limiting the intrusion of government rogues upon its citizens, and it acts as an invisible shield that is an anathema to the regressive-Progressive faction of society coveting power and OPM. This divinely inspired mechanism has afforded our country the opportunity to emerge as the bastion of freedom, achieve an enviable quality of life for the broadest section of citizens of any country to date, and become the destination of many from around the globe. Mr. Jackson, Jr., before you steal more from the depleted treasury of the American taxpayer, why not seek constructive change and support those who are being denied their right to the pursuit of happiness by ‘your people?’ How much of your personal treasury have you put forth towards the goals you espouse? Why are Democrats and union leaders so prejudiced against the improvement of those they profess to represent? Do you have the character to break free from the toxic gravity of the Democrat/union leadership, taking the lead in delivering access to the rights and opportunities promised ‘within’ our Constitution?
