"Israel has reacted with a sense of vindication since South African Judge Richard Goldstone retracted accusations of Israeli war crimes during its war with Hamas in Gaza two years ago. Mr. Goldstone, who headed a panel of the United Nations Human Rights Council that made the accusations in more than 500 pages worth of reports in 2009, wrote in a Washington Post opinion piece published Friday that Israeli inquires into the reports' allegations have made it clear that its army didn’t intentionally target Gaza civilians. He shifted criticism to the militant Islamist group Hamas for "heinous" acts of shooting rockets at Israeli cities and for refusing to investigate itself."As Private Gomer Pyle used to say in the old TV series, "Surprise, surprise!" Buying into propaganda and living in denial will be the death of the free world. But still the world marches on condemning Israel. Many in the US have become willing dupes of this propaganda and perhaps more than a few work within the Congress, the Obama Administration and his UN Delegation. How have we gotten to here from over yonder, where we stood [as we used to say] for our Flag, Mom, Apple Pie and Chevrolet? Judge Goldstone may retract and renounce his own report until the cows come home, but the damage is done. Is it irreparable? Time will tell. The vile rhetoric of our enemies since 2009 has been the steady drumbeat of a war, first to wipe Israel off the map and then to cause the fall of the United States. Goldstone's words will fade in another 24 hours [if they have not already], but the propaganda and false accusations will resume. You may ask, "In light of the truth how can this be?" One word: Conditioning. In the 1930s how many "kept book" on Hitler's broken promises or on Stalin's Purges? The first broken promises were noted, but as more and more were broken, more and more apologists said we needed to work harder for "peace in our time." But as time went on, memories faded. The next lie, the next series of lies, the accusations, the cries of victimization, the escalating protest violence, the planned demonstrations and beatings, the provocations, and the eventual murders and assassinations all preceded the coming, inevitable slaughter. Today, according to our modern sensibilities, this slaughter of innocents is reduced to the "cycle of violence" ... in other words, it is to be expected. So, there is momentary hand wringing followed by swift solutions. What are the answers? ... Kick and spur that Dead Horse one more time. Take one more bite of the Concession Apple. Make ever more stabs at Middle East Peace Negotiations. Repeat this cycle even when the slaughter persists and accelerates [and it will]. But, whatever else happens, keep the heat on the Israelis, and continue sending "humanitarian aid" to Hamas and the Palestinian groups. Balderdash! Are those who believe this utter nonsense deserving of the mantle of leadership? Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain had the decency to resign and was replaced by Winston Churchill after the his failed Munich agreement with Hitler. "Peace in our time" following the Anschluss, did not stop the annexation of Czechoslovakia six months later. This is a pattern of failure from which we should have learned long ago. World War II broke on September 1, 1939 because Hitler believed that Britain and France would not go to war over his invasion of Poland 1939. Churchill, as it turned out, was no Chamberlain. One wonders how Churchill might have dealt with Hitler at Munich, if indeed there would have even been a Munich Conference. Why do we Americans tolerate the ugly acceptance of evil for so long? How often must we go back to this well to learn? Where is our Winston Churchill? He is not allowed in this White House. Remember in 1995 how horrified an upset most Americans were with the events surrounding O.J. Simpson murder trial? Nicole Simpson's head was nearly cut off. Her companion, Ronald Goldman was similarly butchered. [You can even now review the disgusting, grisly photos online these days as if they are a simple curiosity]. How soon did this incident turn into a Courtroom Circus of sensational denial and ridiculous counter-accusations, broken chains of custody, supposed violations of rules of evidence, jury selections, silly rulings from the bench, and charges of racism? If you are still skeptical about conditioning, do an internet search for "throat slitting" in the US or around the world and see what turns up. It is becoming just another form of murder. We have chosen to immunize ourselves to what would be war crimes in a time of war. But, this is a time of war for Israel and for the United States. And, like Nicole and Ronald, we have largely forgotten the victims of 9-11. They are simply other examples of the cycle of violence ... matters of law enforcement and nothing more. Recall, we recently watched within a 48 hour, news-cycle horror show, as another Israeli Family was butchered like common animals by a bunch of terrorist devils who were openly applauded by their ilk as heroes. The world said little in protest. This is testimony to the success of 62 years of worldwide propaganda and hatred directed at Israel and Zionism. The family was slaughtered for no other reason than that they existed. All Jews returning to their homeland of Judea, the ancient land given back to the Jews in 1949 by the UN, risk this treatment by their neighboring enemies. Arab shopkeepers in the West Bank and Gaza even handed out free candy the next day in celebration as the news carried through Arab neighborhoods. How sick, how disgusting. Imagine: this is the nightmare that each Israeli lives with daily. What does our White House do? It lamented and condemned the murders in one sound-bite and then washed their hands like Pontius Pilate, absolving themselves of ever having to do the right thing in response. This Left-Wing Administration intones what all Leftists intone in these times of shame,"We have moved on,"... yes, they move-on [as in [url=http://www.move-on.org]]http://www.move-on.org][/url] to the next news-cycle. Wake up America. These grisly and macabre practices are already in Mexico, being used routinely by drug lords, who learned it from Hamas and Hezbollah. They use them regularly against Mexican Citizens, Government Officials, and Police and even the Federales. There have already been a few beheadings here in the U.S. There will be many, many more as the battle between light and darkness draws nigh. Communist, Islamic and Anarchist Terror groups are all working to bring the US down on many levels ... The old Arab proverb says, " The enemy of my enemy is my friend." They learn from and feed off of each other. This is pure evil at work in the world. Israel is but the "little Satan." We in the U.S. are the "big Satan," the prize that they are working to bring down. Since January 2009, with the Obama Administration, certainly through omission and possibly worse, has enabled the forces of darkness and death to make great strides. But it is not only this administration. We have been sliding downhill ever since Gulf War I when the U.S. Leaders did not allow General Schwarzkopf to finish off Saddam Hussein in 1991. This would have sent the right signal about how America would deal with our enemies in the World. There is no longer "unconditional surrender" in the U.S. lexicon. There is only a "cessation of hostilities" that is inappropriately called "peace." We have been running from reality for a very long time concerning the current Islamic Uprising. It has caught up to us. It is time to face some hard realities about our borders, our language and our American culture. For over a decade, I have been writing and speaking these warnings about this witches brew of Communism melding with Islamic Terror, and Anarchists. All of these play right into the Soros' Open Society agenda for a One World Government. fear is a powerful motivator. It's time that this administration stopped running and faced reality in the Middle East. The childhood fable about the Gingerbread Man centers on a magically animated Gingerbread Man. He is a gifted and swift [and probably also has a sharp crease in his pants]. Try as one might, no one can outrun him and capture him. But our doughy little friend eventually runs into an obstacle that he has never encountered, a mighty river with a fast current. Now, we all know what happens to cookies that are dunked in milk, or in this case water: they fall apart. Enter the Fox. Now the Fox, being swift himself, has tailed the Gingerbread Man and awaited an opportunity to gobble him up. The Fox poses as a friend who asks for nothing, but who offers the Gingerbread Man the opportunity to sit on the Fox's tail and ride across the river. Ah, the joy of a quick solution and a free ride to more glory on the other side! The Gingerbread Man hops on and they set off to cross the river. Once into the water, the tail is immersed. The Fox advises the Gingerbread Man to move on to his back. The water deepens further and our little Man moves next to the neck and then to the top of the head. Finally the Fox invites the Gingerbread Man to move to his nose, the only place safe from the waters. The Gingerbread Man does what he thinks he must in the perilous situation. Whereupon the Fox flicks his nose, opens his mouth and chews up our hapless hero, thereby reducing him to a crumbly, but rich snack. Who is the Gingerbread man? Who is the Fox? What is the moral of the story? It is worth thinking about. It is not rocket science. Would you rather be the Fox or the Gingerbread man? If I can be the Fox, when do I start crossing that river? If, however, I am the Gingerbread man, what are my options? Do I start to walk and end it all now, continue to run along the bank look for a bridge while growing weary and vulnerable, or do I decide to accept the ride to Armageddon? Unfortunately, we are way past the beginning of this parable. Decide for yourself whether you would rather be the Fox at stream's edge and dipping your toes in the water, or the Gingerbread Man thinking about the Fox's offer. Does the Gingerbread Man have another option? If the Gingerbread man walks, runs, or rides, he's eventually a goner. I personally like the Fox's odds. As for me, this is my "Ground Hog's Day" dream sequence: In it, I am just an old, retired soldier fishing downstream observing and watching the drama unfold. I'm not certain who's who, but knowing who is President, I think that I know who might be the Gingerbread Man. So, I shout as loudly as I can to that Gingerbread man, "Don't do it, Man! Stand and fight!" He never listens. Then I wake up.
