With "The Donald" on the hunt, the "birther" issue is not going to go away

Trump Should Tell Obama “You’re Fired!”

Meredith Vieira: "You've criticized Obama in this interview, and in the past. What do you think he has done well?" Donald Trump: "Get elected." Interview on the "Today" show April 7, 2011 Donald Trump is definitely "Made In America," and he doesn't have that god-awful snobbish arrogance that so many of the over-educated, under-experienced effete elite radiate.

Trump's down-to-earth street smarts, coupled with his intelligence, and well known work ethic are qualities that, in and of themselves, are enough to have moved Trump from an entertaining, if safely ignored non-contender, to a serious candidate for next President of the United States. But Trump has more, much more. His "this is what you get, take it or leave it' persona is striking a chord with an ever-growing number of Americans, who are sick and tired of being talked down to, lied to, or ignored. Maybe America is ready to choose "content of character" over snake-oil salesman glibness. Unlike our current POTUS, Trump has a proven track record of success. He knows his way around the Byzantine world of high finance like few do, and knows how to do business with unions without kowtowing to them. He understands that America is indeed exceptional, and what makes it so. You just know that a President Trump would not bow before anybody. Respectful? Yes. Subservient? Never. Trump is perhaps uniquely qualified to raise the birth certificate issue, and not be beaten down by the vociferous liberal media's propaganda machine. He has the strength of character to do it, the money to do it, and the patriotism to do it. Even as you read this he has the best people money can buy looking into Obama's past. Who else has the motivation, money, and guts to do that? Trust me, with "The Donald" on the hunt, the "birther" issue is not going to go away -- quite the contrary. And the birth certificate issue is, of course, only the tip of a much larger iceberg that is Obama's hidden past. Rather than go on at length about Trump's qualifications to be POTUS (which are many, and impressive), I would like to wrap up this article by asking what has become an increasingly important question -- who should Trump pick as a running mate? While it is more important than ever that "we the people" run for office ourselves, as well as supporting constitutional patriots as candidates at the local and state level, nonetheless we need a hard-charging patriot at the country's helm. Who he or she picks as a VP is crucial, as it may well decide whether the election is won or lost. So which person Trump chooses for VP is a most important choice. Personally, Allen West would be my pick for VP, at this time. "Trump/West in 2012" -- I like it. But there are a number of other possibilities that show promise as well. Sarah Palin? Michele Bachmann? Gen. Paul Vallely? Mike Huckabee? Some as yet unknown contender waiting out in the wings? Time will tell. In the meantime -- "Go Donald Go!" Laus Deo.
