To have faith in America or not have faith – that is the question

My last article stirred the pot, where I stated that neither America or Israel were on their way out. Many of you who have already given up on America and believe God is judging America, let me have it. America is Babylon. God is done with America. You couldn’t believe the naivety in me actually believing America would survive, come back and be a light on a hill again. Yes, even be used by God almighty for His purposes in the world.

I am most aware how America has drifted over the decades into perversion, selfish pleasures and other gods. Many, including some pastors and leaders, have turned the Holy Bible and her message into the theatre of the absurd and ‘self esteem’ orgy. Forget the real message of Jesus, hell and heaven, that is uncomfortable, rude and hateful. Distortions and lies are taught. Yes, I will give you that, but, so is the truth in America. America has a miraculous beginning, inspired by God and has truly been a light on a hill, supporter and protector of Israel and defender of freedom throughout the world. With all the contributions and stands against evil, marching against Hitler and the Nazis, stopping Japan’s scheme to take over the world, attacking radical Islam’s domination and communism, does God intend to simply crush and forget America? Would the millions in America who love God, the Holy Bible and cherish freedom be silenced and their prayers be ignored? I say a big fat NO. I believe America is being judged for her sins by the distorted rule of Barack Obama. He has the teleprompter form of godliness but lives and demonstrates the opposite life style and voting record. He kisses up to Islam and shuns Christian displays and traditions. I believe with all my heart that God is not done with America but has used this time to awaken the sleeping Giant and people in America who love the real God and freedom. Evil exists in America but so does righteousness and truth. I believe God has raised up the 100 million strong, Tea Party groups and I predict is planning to pull real and humble leadership out of nowhere who will honor America, God and freedom this next round. You watch. With all the theological and prophetic debates and disagreements amongst us, we cannot stop fighting for what is right, what is free, what is Godly, what is constitutional and, yes, what is American. Rather than spilling our coffee in disgust over your version of a ‘done America’ you should be picking up your sword in your environment, your world, where ever it is and fighting for American principles with your last breath. God Himself breathed life into America. The patient is not dead yet. Don’t you dare let her die. My passion is for America to become a blessed nation again, a true light on a hill of hope and encouragement to the world. My passion is for God to raise up a people and leadership who will rely on Him and seek wisdom from Him again, while boldly standing in the face of evil. We know what to do, we must want to do it and get it done!
