Walker Trails in Wisconsin Recall

Wow, I don’t know where to begin. Sad - and somewhat panicked - having just read the latest Rasmussen, I feel the country slipping away. Scott Walker now trails - among likely voters! - in the Wisconsin governor recall referendum. Despite empowering school districts, creating a pro-job environment, and passing sensible reforms, he’s down five points (52-47) with the trend not his friend.

I cannot over-emphasize the magnitude of this development. Yes, Walker has yet to draw an opponent (two lefties are punching it out for the honor) but it’s stunning. To fail Walker and relinquish the governorship, to buckle to unions, and to do so in a swing-state that is Ground Zero in the war, is to lose the Decisive Battle. If Walker falls, it’s kryptonite to Conservatism, Pearl Harbor in which the fuel tanks BLOW.... The Left will be motivated.... Obama will prevail. We’ll lose the Supreme Court. Ronald Reagan once said, “History will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening.” ‎ It’s said that each election season 30 million eligible conservatives fail to vote. Thirty million.... The operative word here is “fail.”
