“Michelle Obama, speaking yesterday at a campaign event in Florida: “So that one new voter that you register in your precinct -- think about it -- that one neighbor that you get to the polls on November the 2 I want you to understand, that could be the one that makes the difference. That one conversation, that one new volunteer you recruit, that could be the one that puts this over the top.” (Weekly Standard, Aug. 23, 2012)
Vice President Joe Biden, speaking to a predominately African American audience at a speech in Danville, Virginia on August 14, 2012: “They’re (the Republicans) gonna put y’all back in chains.” (Fox News). In naming the wrong election date in Florida, we can no more assume that Michelle Obama is stupid than we can assume Vice President Joe Biden’s boldfaced lie that Republicans “are going put y’all back in chains” originates strictly from his legendary stupidity. There’s a method in the madness of Michelle Obama giving the wrong date for upcoming elections. Like her spouse, Michelle is arrogant, arrogant enough to think she can fix in enemy minds a November 2 Election Day. This is an election campaign that is dominated by the lies of President Barack Hussein Obama and one that is awash in daily propaganda.

The propaganda filters down from the high handed, couldn’t-care-less- about-the-truth Obamas and Biden, and yet in harsh reality has nothing on the two most dangerous untruths now stalking Mitt Romney. The one that insists that “Romney’s going to win by a landslide”, akin to whistling past the graveyard, is dangerous because it encourages folk to assume something of which there is no guarantee. “It’s going to be a landslide” for fill in the blank has been put to use by the enemy in most every election. It’s a well-known campaign tactic whose strategy aims at keeping the enemy vote at home on Election Day. Canada Free Press (CFP) is hearing repeatedly from surprising sources the expressed sentiment that “No matter who wins, it will be the same.” In our opinion, they couldn’t possibly be more wrong. The Marxist misery that now dominates America will only be the same if Obama makes it through a second term. People who advance this belief have given up on themselves and their country. They have buried themselves under the white flag of surrender without even trying a rescue mission. Surely they know that if they give up on their country, they are, in effect, giving up on their families. This is not the time to give up. That is not to say that the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan ticket is the magic solution to all that ails America. Yet Romney and Ryan not only offer a start, they offer beleaguered America’s only start. Holding Romney’s and Ryan’s feet to the fire, if they disappoint those who voted them in, will be much easier than trying to get by in an America which Obama has killed off by dead end Socialism. Those out there advocating the negative message that there is no difference between Romney and Obama need to rein in their embitterment. Romney and Obama are not alike. Not even close. Friends of the seriously embittered should coax them to get back into the race to fight the good cause. The politically disenchanted are once again going along with a failing strategy that always puts the cart before the horse. Why they are working the Romney-Obama-the-same angle so feverishly makes one wonder if it’s really the Obots at work. There is, of course no guarantee that Romney will get elected. Some are still not convinced that Obama will not try to bypass defeat by coming up with an event causing the suspension of elections. Giving up, sitting on one’s duff and sitting the election out, is a guarantee for disaster, a disaster destined to lead to despair. Perspective seems to have disappeared as quickly as Obama’s 2008 fairy dust. Getting perspective back starts with a simple acknowledgement: There’s a Marxist activist with Hollywood friends squatting on the White House. But please, Merciful God, don’t let it end there.
