A New Year’s Greeting and request from Raylyn Terrell of Lindsay House Publishing this morning opens the mind to finding new ways in fighting the good fight.
The CEO of Lindsay House Publishing and mainstay behind The 10th Amendment Center is looking for other voices to fill the “David vs. Goliath” need of our time.
“Have you any suggestions perhaps, and can you open some doors,” she asks Canada Free Press. (CFP)
“Suppose there are those who are called and tasked to reveal heaven’s plan through their communication abilities. They are “little people” without financial means to broadcast and magnify the message they’ve been given.
“Therefore they must seek out those like-hearted and like-minded, and unite in their mission to stem the evil tide.
“I have to echo Isaiah’s answer—”Here I am, send me.” But we need a tidal wave, and I’m just one cup,” she wrote.
The door of which you write, Ms. Terrell, is being sought by untold millions actively trying to find their way out of the dark.
Raylyn Terrell, whose family has lived on land once owned by George Washington and near land owned by George Mason’s family, comes by her unflagging courage and pluck naturally. Her late father, Richard Clark Lindsay, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general, served as commander of NATO forces in southern Europe in the late 1950s.
“Lindsay became chief of the combined Joint Staff Division of the Army Air Forces Headquarters in 1944 and attended summit meetings with world leaders including President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.” (Los Angeles Times, Nov. 6, 1990). “In 1945, he became assistant chief of staff of plans for the U.S. Army Strategic Air Forces on Guam. He later became commander of the 316th Bomb Wing and assistant chief of staff for Intelligence for the Far East Air Forces in Tokyo in 1947.”
Just “one cup” active in the tidal wave of World War II.
Last April, republishing a piece from Personal Liberty Digest, Terrell wrote how her sense of pride in Virginia had never been greater than today “because the Virginia Legislature and Governor Bob McDonnell have worked together to protect the State from the juggernaut of tyranny unleashed on America with the National Defense Authorization Act (sections 1021 and 1022.)
“The new law, to take effect on July 1, states: “Prevents any agency, political subdivision, employee, or member of the military of Virginia from assisting an agency of the armed forces of the United States in the conduct of the investigation, prosecution, or detention of a United States citizen in violation of the United States Constitution, Constitution of Virginia, or any Virginia law or regulation.
“Delegate Bob Marshall from Manassas wrote HB 1160 and shepherded it through the process.
“It took much prayer and work, and there’s no doubt that jigs are being danced in heaven.
“The 10th Amendment Center has been educating and encouraging Americans to be active in Constitutional advocacy. This author (soon to be 80 years old) spent much time in prayer, phone calls and email communication with legislators and with the Governor’s office. Many others have done the same. Let’s celebrate now and encourage all other American States to follow our example.
“‘We’ve only just begun’ can be a motto for us. There’s a long way yet to go, but we’ve got momentum now and, after all, we believe along with Winston Churchill: ‘Never give in—never, never, never, never!’”
How’s that for the distance travelled by “just one cup” when we need a tidal wave?
Down through the ages just one cup against other monumental tidal waves travelled so very far. There was President Ronald Reagan’s “just one cup: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”
There was Polish priest and Bishop Karol Wojtyla, the future beloved Pope John Paul II, who stared down communism, starting out with “just one cup”, and so many many more.
God Bless You for your “just one cup”, Raylyn Terrell, and in time uncountable patriotic souls will find their way to the door leading out of the dark, thanks to you.
