Ugliness flows from the sick minds at SNL

Saturday Night Live observes Lent with the most offensive sketch in its history: Djesus Uncrossed

Update: I debated posting this, as doing so will only draw more attention to it. However, it's becoming a news story as the video spreads, so here you go.... 2013's Lenten season began Wednesday, and Christians all over the world are observing the six week lead-up to Easter Sunday. It's a solemn, reverent, time for millions of faithful. So, of course, the ultra-tolerant progressive left sees it as an opportunity to unload their derision, their hatred, and their ugliness upon believers.

Case in point is last night's episode of Saturday Night Live. NBC's comedic brain trust thought it would be just oh-so-hilarious to mark the fourth day of Lent with an appalling, ugly, and insulting sketch called "Djesus Uncrossed." The mock movie trailer portrays the resurrected Christ as an uber-violent, shotgun wielding, killer. Back from the grave, the risen Christ seeks bloody revenge against the Romans who crucified him. The bit starring Django Unchained’s Christoph Waltz, was shot in the style of a Tarantino movie, and features impersonations of Tarantino mainstays like Brad Pitt and Samuel L. Jackson. Ask yourself, would ANY other religion be subject to this treatment from self-proclaimed "funny people?" Should we anxiously await a similar sketch about Buddha or Vishnu? Will Obama ally Seth Meyers and his stable of "genius writers" mark Ramadan by skewering Muhammad in similar fashion? No? Why are we not surprised.... Here's the clip, but be warned, it's extremely violent and designed to be as offensive as possible. Version for Canadians to see
