Karl Rove wing of the Republican party seems to have designated Jeb Bush as the 2016 heir apparent to the White House

Just Say No to Jeb

Please, no more Bushes, Clintons or Kennedys. America does not have a House of Lords. We fought a long and bloody battle to get away from that sort of thing.

Yet, the Karl Rove wing of the Republican party seems to have designated Jeb Bush as the 2016 heir apparent to the White House. These would be the same strategerists who keep bringing us "moderates" who keep losing elections. Jeb managed to get himself onto every single Sunday news program yesterday, ostensibly to promote his new book in which he manages to contradict himself on immigration, his core issue. When asked, Jeb assured Bret Baier that he would carry no "Bush Baggage" in the 2016 election should he choose to run. Excuse me? Imagine the paroxysms of rage coming from every direction at the mere mention of the words "Bush" and "president" in one sentence. The Rovian agenda is to capture the Hispanic vote. Latinos are the fastest growing demographic in the country and their votes should have gone to conservatives long ago. Conservative principles are a good fit for Hispanic voters in general. Unfortunately, conservatives don't seem to be able to communicate conservatism effectively to this particular demographic group. Instead, RINOS fixate on flip flopping around on immigration. And Latino voters keep voting for Democrats whose values are anathema to most family oriented, pro life Hispanics. Though Jeb did accuse the media of being a bunch of crackheads on the topic of 2016, he certainly didn't deny that he's contemplating a run. Perfect. A Bush v Clinton election. Isn't there a Kennedy we can throw in somehow and make 2016 the ultimate battle of the dynasties?
