Obama’s tyranny and acceleration in America’s downward spiral

The Audacity of Narcissism

November 5, 2009 – Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan shouts “Allahu Akbar!” and opens fire at the Fort Hood army base in Texas. Thirteen are killed and twenty-nine injured (Later it is discovered that Hasan was mentored by Anwar al-Awlaki, the Yemeni-American al-Qaeda cleric who is subsequently killed by an American drone attack in 2011).
December 4, 2009 – Sixteen-year-old Saudi national Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi visits the White House with a contingent of Saudis and Muslim Brotherhood operatives. They spend the night reveling with President Obama, smoking a hookah (despite a smoking ban in the White House) and urinating on national treasures. In 2013, Al-Harbi is quickly deported amidst controversy after the Boston Marathon bombing. His connection to the White House and Obama remains unknown. Well, of course I can’t prove all of it, but I sure would like to see how the last sentence plays out – because there is undeniably a connection.

Over the course of this week, we have observed the Obama administration desperately attempting to cover up its enabling of Islamic terror networks within the US. Of this, there is no doubt. There is no need for me to go into the minutiae vis-à-vis their rhetorical gymnastics concerning the history of the Tsarnaev brothers and their Boston mosque, or the activities of Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi; these have been comprehensively documented via reliable sources as the evidence has come to light. When I first saw the photographs of Al-Harbi in the hospital, I wondered why someone who had just narrowly escaped perishing in a bomb blast would display that Cheshire Cat grin for photographers. In January, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul demanded that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano explain why DHS had extended a trusted traveler program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a nation known to be lousy with al-Qaeda and other Islamist operatives. The move sent a collective shudder down the backs of those genuinely concerned with our national security, since the potential for increased vulnerability was obvious. I believe I now know from whence comes the grin: Al-Harbi – and no doubt, many others – are laughing their heads off. At us. At America. At the system that is allowing the unrestricted growth of terrorist networks within the United States. It is more or less common knowledge among conservatives that President Obama has a treasonous relationship with radical Islamist factions such as the Muslim Brotherhood and the terrorist-affiliated Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR). It has been frustrating that his ostensible political opponents (the GOP leadership) have been so passive as regards pointing this and Obama’s innumerable other sinister actions out to the public. But how, one wonders, can this president act with such increasing, brazen gall? Whether or not it is proven (as has been reported) that Al-Harbi visited the White House, the administration has visibly tripped several times over the narrative referencing this character. What sort of “special relationship” could a 20-year-old (sixteen, if he has known the Obamas since he arrived in the US) al-Qaeda-affiliated Saudi have with the First Family? And why would it merit a high-profile hospital visit when there were scores of other seriously injured Americans bleeding to death? Whatever the answer the Al-Harbi question is, it has become more than evident that the scope of Obama’s tyrannical machinations has its genesis in a manifest sociopathy. Indeed, his pathological narcissism has been on the minds and tongues of both lay people and experts since he took office. Slim though the consolation of having been right may be, I recognized Obama as a twisted individual right off the bat; at this point, I believe that he is a sociopathic narcissist of legendary proportions. In 2009, my colleague Martha Trowbridge interviewed Steve Becker, an expert in the field of social work and psychology on her radio show for a series on the psychology of political immorality. While the interview did not address Obama specifically, the comparisons between Becker’s Dream Candidate, Nightmare Politician and the president are haunting, to say the least.
“First of all, there is much evidence that the sociopath basically represents the highest, most pathological expression of narcissism. And so when we speak of narcissism we are really speaking of a narcissistic spectrum, which all of us fall somewhere on. “Highly narcissistic personalities tend to exhibit many of the following qualities… They feel – and this is very central – very highly entitled to what they want. They expect others to accommodate their needs, and they resent – and often punish – those who don’t. They expect to be catered to, emotionally and otherwise… they are extremely self-centered and over-focused on their own needs, and correspondingly less and, often, uninterested, in others’ needs. “Narcissistically disturbed individuals, including sociopaths, chronically feel contempt for anyone or anything that obstructs their personal, selfish agenda. This can be contempt for a spouse, a business partner, their constituency, their politicians, or laws. By contempt, I mean dismissive, scornful levels of disdain. At the heart of contempt is devaluation. When you devalue others enough, you are negating, in a sense, their humanity…” Steve Becker, MSW, LCSW
Thus, even many Americans who have a clue that Obama is bad news ideologically are not aware of the extremes to which he may be prepared to go in coalescing his power. His closest colleagues are, like him, dedicated Marxists who actually revere mass murderers such as Mao, Stalin, and Castro – so morality is a non-issue for them anyway. Add to this Obama’s sociopathy, and there is literally no limit to his potential for atrocity. While the administration’s deportment with regard to the Boston Marathon bombing is appalling as well as enlightening, I fear it may only be the beginning of a quantum augmentation of Obama’s tyranny and acceleration in America’s downward spiral.
