When Michelle Obama threw a hissy fit at an up to $10,000-a-plate Democratic National Committee fundraising dinner last night, approximately 200 Democratic Party loyalists egged her on.
In an incident that proves that the Obama administration, which will sic the IRS on the Tea Party and other conservatives who dare to criticize their policy, we now have proof they’ll sic Michelle on Dems and their supporters who will be silenced too.
As an indicator to show how far the left has gone in exchanging independence for fawning the crowd who witnessed the First Lady’s temper tantrum both applauded her and begged her to stay after she threatened to leave the premises.
A single gay rights activist had stepped forward to the front of the lectern shouting for an executive order on gay rights.
“One of the things I don’t do well is this,” replied FLOTUS to loud applause.” (Daily Mail, June 5, 2013). Imperial Michelle then left the lectern and moved over to the protester, saying they could “listen to me or you can take the mic but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.”
According to the press pool the crowd ‘started shouting that they wanted FLOTUS to stay’.
Proverbial suckers for punishment come in all political stripes, it seems.
Conservatives squelched by IRS and EPA attacks could tell the LGBT crowd that if they want an executive order on gay rights, paying $10,000-a-plate to see Michelle Obama lose it is not the way to get it.
No one in the 200-strong crowd even tried to defend the single protester, later identified as GetEQUAL activist Ellen Sturtz.
By the very next day, Sturtz, meeting the same fate as the First Lady’s outburst, was erased.
When the White House transcript was released, The Daily Caller reports, it did not include any indication of an acrimonious exchange--and conspicuously missing was Mrs. Obama’s threat to leave the event.
Indeed the only indication in the transcript that anything was amiss is a note about an (“Inaudible audience interruption”...)
Mrs. Obama’s hissy fit went all the way overseas where the cheeky Daily Mail captioned a photo of her with widespread arms: “Mrs. Obama brought her speaking talents--and her considerable wingspan--to stump for Democratic candidates but got her feathers ruffled by the lesbian avenger”.
Make that one single lesbian “avenger”.
Thus far, the White House hasn’t been able to delete the somewhat ridiculous picture.
Michelle now matches her husband in ‘the man who isn’t there’ status.
It is only conspiracy theorists who imagine Mrs. Obama’s trademark scowl; tellers of big whoppers who insist she loathes conservative patriots and war veterans and that she is part of a dictatorial administration that would starve both students and soldiers.
The White House will soon be sending out orders along the lines of ‘Repeat after us: Michelle Obama is a conservative and soldier-loving sweet-tempered lady, who has the most prized coveted upper arms on the planet’.
