Sarah Palin not only can draw a crowd, but draws crowds with passion

Sarah Palin For RNC Chair

I know, one campaign at a time, but it's also time to look towards the future. Should John McCain lose the presidential election, who better to run our nation's national party than Sarah Palin?

Governor Palin obviously does something our national (and in some cases state) parties have been either unwilling or unable to do: invigorate the grass roots. We've seen complaints of the way McCain's campaign is being run. Complaints of "9-5" staffers who drift from one campaign paycheck to another, mishandling the candidates and their message abound. National, state party and PAC chairs constantly hitting up the loyal for donations while blowing them off for campaign rallies where most desired to aid local efforts frustrate those who volunteer their time and money unappreciated. Sarah Palin not only can draw a crowd, but draws crowds with passion. Something most chairs could only dream of doing. Watching a party hack self-promote on cable news may regurgitate the party line, but little enthusiasm is created. Palin excites the base and many Democrats as well. Should Barack Obama become president, the Republican Party will need more than the continuation of the old boy's club. We'll need ol' girl, Sarah Palin.
