Will become the new "Atlantis"

Chris Matthews: ‘Climate change’ will sink Miami ‘probably this century’

Back in 1988, Ted Danson warned us that in 10 years, the oceans would be dead. They'd be incapable of sustaining life, and shortly thereafter, mankind would be destroyed as well. That was 25 years ago and, last time I visited Hawaii, the ocean was still there, still full of fish, and the humans were still around to enjoy it.
In order to avoid future Danson-style embarrassments, the progressive loons have had to stretch out their timeline. Al Gore now says we have 100 years left. Actually, he first made this claim seven years ago, so we're down to about 93. You could make a cynical argument that 100 years is the perfect timeframe since most of us won't be here when the magical date rolls around. Gore won't have to be humiliated by a potential miscalculation, and we'll have long since destroyed the free-market economy in an effort to save us from the non-existent disaster. If you're the kind of person who thinks that way, just stop it. Get with the program. Somewhere around the year 2100 all hell is going to break lose. We must take drastic action or the chaos will consume us all.

We know there will be massive supertornados, earthquakes, fires, floods, and famines. The folks over at CNN are also pretty sure that global warming is attracting asteroids, so we have to worry about that as well. Still, we've never been 100% positive about which cities will bear the brunt of this cataclysm. Until now. MSNBC's Chris Matthews broke the news last night. Miami, at less than five feet above sea level, will be consumed when the ocean rises three feet. This will happen "most probably in this century" and the city will become a new "Lost City of Atlantis." Except, presumably, everyone will know exactly where it is. Here's Chris, blaming politicians, businessmen, and deniers for the "probable" destruction of what could have become the "greatest city of the Western Hemisphere." You should all be ashamed of yourselves...one day...probably.
