Obama claims conservatives ‘tell me privately’ they’re scared of Limbaugh and Tea Party

It's in this interview clip from CNN:

All right, you renegade conservatives! Who's talking to Obama and telling him this? Just kidding. Seriously, is there any way this is not simply a total lie? Would any Republican really say this to Obama? (OK, I'll give you Lindsey Graham.) It's the sort of thing you can't prove is false because he can always claim someone told him something "privately" and if he doesn't say who it is, there's no way you can even go to that person for the "no comment" or the formulaic denial the media can then insist it doesn't believe. It's the easist lie in the world for Obama to tell. And of course, it's a total lie that Republicans propose to shut down the government, and that's ground we've covered a lot lately. By the way, how do you like his declaration that "the buck stops with me" followed by his blaming everyone but himself for the issues that are presenting a budget agreement? If Obama really wanted the House and the Senate to each pass a budget and then sit down and work out their differences, he would call out the one person who has refused since 2010 to allow that to happen, and that's Harry Reid. Odds on Obama doing that? Exactly.
