In the coming days, the United States may take military action against Syria in response to the use of chemical weapons. Whether or not you support such action, the one thing we can all agree on is that the use of chemical weapons against civilians is a war crime which must not be ignored. Silence is not an option.
Yet America has been largely silent about another humanitarian crisis -- the ongoing assault on the Christians of the Middle East. Watch Now In recent years -- and especially in recent weeks -- the Middle East's ancient Christian communities have been targeted for bombings, shootings, murder and persecution. Now they constitute well under 5 percent.

Middle East extremists drove out the Saturday people -- the Jews -- decades ago. Now they are coming for the Sunday people -- the Christians. The time has come to end the silence! Sign our petition to ask President Obama to help our Christian brothers and sisters. Our Christian brethren are under assault in the Middle East. We must stop the silence! Click here to ask President Obama to stop these atrocities now. America has a proud legacy of defending persecuted religious minorities. We have stood up for persecuted Jews and Muslims around the world. The time has come that we stand by our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters as well! May God Bless You and Those that You Love, Pastor John Hagee David Brog Chairman Executive Director CUFI CUFI
