Dear Hyatt Gun Shop Inc, Authorize.Net LLC (“Authorize.Net”) has determined that the nature of your business constitutes a violation of Section 2.xiv of the Authorize.Net Acceptable Use Guidelines and Sections 3.3 and 11.3 of the Authorize.Net Service Agreement (the “Agreement”). These sections include, but are not limited to, the sale of firearms or any similar product. Accordingly, pursuant to Section 4 of the Acceptable Use Guidelines, your ability to access and use the Authorize.Net Services will be terminated on September 30, 2013.This action puts the company in a bind and gives it only a short time to find a new credit service before it finds it can no longer fulfill orders via credit card. Hyatt has released its own statement on the matter:
Statement about Authorize.net As reported by Grass Roots North Carolina, credit card gateway Authorize.net has indeed refused to continuing doing business with us simply because we sell guns. We urge all of you who shop online to boycott any web site displaying the Authorize.net or Cybersource logo. We have since switched to a gun-friendly provider that offers all of the same security features you'd expect. Is any of this a surprise? Not considering the fact that VISA executives have given over $20,000 to Obama's political campaigns. It is clear that those that run VISA are dyed-in-the-wool leftists that are now using the power of their large corporation to force upon us leftist policies that liberals can't get passed by law. But VISA's action has sparked a reaction. Grass Roots North Carolina is organizing a boycott against any company that uses Authorize.net for its credit services. Below is another example of the leftists convincing business to acquiesce to their defacto gun bans. And then we had the recent kerfuffle with Starbucks that was only just in the news a few days ago where the CEO of the coffee giant admitted he stands against the Second Amendment. As I said, forcing businesses to impinge on the rights of customers is the new battlefield, folks. Pay attention and do something to reply.
